Great controller, feels good in your hands. Buttons and D-pad all very responsive. But the best bit is the 3m lead. It means rather than cross legged in front of the tv, like a child, you can sit comfortably on the sofa, like a man!

Absolute rubbish quality. Stopped working after less than 2 months of light use.And Amazons usual crap customer service sends me to the US website and the item isn’t even available anymore, Don’t be fooled by the Sega branding these are cheap rubbish with a sega logo.

I'm sure it's a great pad as it is based on the original 6 button sega mega drive pad and is officially licensed. However the one I received didn't work correctly because the D pad stuck on the bottom left quadrant making moves like the Dragon punch on street fighter almost impossible when your character is facing left. I returned it and was refunded, hopefully it's just a one off faulty one. I plan on ordering another one in future because I only own one original 6 button pad for my mega drive and would like to have a spare in case my old original one were to fail.

Nice packaging. Controller is as described. Great build Quality. The plastic used is sturdy and very similar to the original. Buttons feel solid and not loose. Over all a great controller. Ive had no real issues with directional input and have noticed no lag. Would recommend.

Having seen a few negative reviews I was a little concerned, but I needn't have been, this is a really nice controller. It's been a long time since I last used an original Sega six button pad so it's hard to compare but this one felt really nice and responsive. I tested it out with Street Fighter 2 and was able to pull off special moves with ease, I'm really pleased with this, great stuff. Edit: I have to knock this one down to two stars, the D pad broke clean off after only 2 months of daily use, upon inspection the design appears to be very weak, not impressed at all, I've never experienced anything like this with a D pad before, very disapointed.

This pad works perfectly with fighting games that are designed for 6 button input. However it seems less ideal for some games, e.g. Batman, where the C button doesn't seem to register different length of button presses, meaning you can't control the height of jumps. It's great to have a modern replacement for the 6 button pad but you may need to have an original 3 button pad on stand by for some games.

Une fidélité à 99% dans la reproduction des manettes d'époque, avec même une rétrocompatibilité pour la Sega Master System (bien qu'il faille parfois user d'un peu d'huile de coude pour les adapter sur la SMS), mais le résultat est là et c'est vraiment top ! Ces manettes sont néanmoins légèrement plus petites que celles d'origine éditées par Sega dans les années 90 (je parle des manettes 3 boutons), ce qui pour ma part m'a demandé un léger temps d'adaptation pour ne pas appuyer sur 2 boutons en même temps dans les premières minutes d'utilisation (et pourtant je suis loin d'avoir de gros doigts), mais ça reste vraiment un détail. On se fait rapidement à l'ergonomie de cette nouvelle manette. Un gros plus également, c'est le câble de 3 mètres qui me permet désormais de jouer avec aisance depuis mon canapé sans avoir besoin de rester collé devant la télé. En effet, les anciennes manettes d'époque avaient un câble vraiment trop court. Les boutons et la croix directionnelle sont fluides, c'est un vrai plaisir de jouer avec des manettes neuves qui conservent le cachet d'antan des manettes Sega. Bravo et merci à Retro-Bit pour le travail accompli !

Love the controller, has extra length cable now that TVs have gotten bigger. Happy they have stuck with the original hardware design, D-pad is tight because of that, so feels like the same when gaming.

Heute habe ich das Sega-Retro-Pad geliefert bekommen. Was soll ich sagen...Ich habe es sofort getestet und bin total begeistert. Die Qualität ist wirklich super und es liegt richtig gut in der Hand. Mit diesem Pad macht Zocken mit Mega Drive, an der Röhre, wieder richtig spaß!!!

Versione cablata del pad per sega mega drive , direi di ottima qualità, leggero ed ergonomico, i tasti e il dpad rispondono perfettamente durante le sessioni di gioco . Mi ha permesso di tornare indietro di una trentina d’anni più o meno e onestamente una volta acceso il mio vecchio mega drive mk1 sono subito tornato bambino. Inoltre la possibilità di rivivere quei momenti di spensieratezza assieme a mio figlio di 5 anni non ha prezzo .
