Super easy to use plug in, turn on, set and leave it

This timer lets you set a grow light to come on for a set number of hours and then turn off. However, the setup is kind of funky. If you want the light to come on at midnight for ten hours, you need to go turn the light on at midnight the first time, and any other time that the switch gets reset/unplugged. I will likely replace with a more flexible 24 hour timer that I can set any time.

The product is inexpensive and may work well, but it is deficient in several important ways. First, and most important, there is no way to set the time at which the device should actually turn on, only the duration of the ON time. Frankly, this is a pain in the neck, especially since the device has no internal memory after being disconnected.To make this timer work, you would need to choose a time at which to physically plug in the device. This sets the ON time. Then choose a duration for the device to stay ON. Presumably it will then continue to work until the power is disconnected.Not including any instructions is also a shoddy way to sell a product.
