Co-Pilot XT Deluxe Wide Tire Bike Trailer

I cannot praise this product enough, my little girl is 4 and she was getting a little bored of not being able to get involved on a proper bike ride.I ride an electric mountain bike, so I don’t notice the difference in weight as much, I was tempted by some other brands which attach to the axle, although that setup didn’t suit my bike as my through axle doesn’t allow for anything else and I didn’t want to buy another.I few issues I didn’t consider when buying, which could change my mind if I ever had to buy another, I’ve got a dropper seat post, which is usually as low as I can get it when it’s dropped, when I raised the post to attach this, then put it back to where I usually have it I kinked the wire, which was my fault I know.I’ve got 27.5 inch wheels and I’m running Maxxis DHR 2.8” tyres, which means if we go over a bump or certain drops the bar on the WeeRide catches the rear wheel, sometimes quite severely, so if you run 27.5 with big tyres or a 29er this may not be the product for you.As a little note, I have cut a section of an old tube to sit within the clamp, as not to damage my seat post, I would recommend doing the same.All in all I can’t really fault this, even though I’ve noticed a couple of issues, that’s down to me and not the product.Most important of all, my daughter absolutely loves going out on the “big bike” with her Daddy, if this isn’t the product for you, then please consider another, because you won’t regret it!

This is really well made absolutely nothing cheap about it. I took my 6 year old grandson off road on it as he is struggling to get the hang of his bike, I would highly recommend it. Folds to fit in back of the car and really easy to clip on land off.

I have used this mainly to go to school and back with my son (5), and it has been a huge hit. It connects well to my hybrid bike even though I have a large frame (I'm 6ft3).The turning circle of the bike is something to be aware of, because if you turn too tightly, it can twist the saddle stem and then that needs adjusting. I'm lucky on my bike that I have a quick release which is easily changed.The only other thing that I would say about this tag along is that it is heavy. To put it in perspective, it's about the same weight as my bike. Although this does mean that it's solid.

Very disappointed. I'm hoping that the replacement will be in better condition.Straight out of the box the paint work is scratched through and flaking off. Looking further it's discoloured in paces, unevenly applied in others. So many scrapes and scratches on it that it looks like it's been assembled and painted by a blind Edward Scissorhands.Quality control must have been on siesta when this left the factory.I'll update further when the next one arrives but personally, I'd avoid and shop elsewhere.

This particular item had a manufacturing defect and was unsafe for use. Car drivers stopped me to ask if I was okay and safe. Our granddaughter has now fallen off twice due to the twisted angle it sits at once ridden round a corner. She could’ve been seriously injured but for quieter roads at this time.I have tried to engage with amazon via chat and had a rep Sethu who seemed to give up on me.
