BEAMSHOT GB1000 True Daylight Green Laser Sight (*Battery & M1 Mount Included)

My cat absolutely loves this thing.

I received the GB1000 in less than a week. I installed it on the top of a Mossberg 590A1, and used loc-tite on all screws. The mount provided does not place the GB1000 along the center line of the barrel, and when you tighten the locking screw it changes the zero of the laser, so sighting in is more difficult than it should be. I got it sighted in to within 2" at 40 meters, this took about 15 rounds firing slugs. The next weekend I went out to practice using low recoil field loads "1 oz # 7.5 shot at 1200 fps" after firing only 20 rounds the laser stopped working. You could see a green glow in the laser but it would no longer produce a beam of light. Fortunately I was still within Amazon's 30 day return period and received a full refund from Amazon. Thanks Amazon! I replaced the GB1000 with a Bushnell TS-25 red dot. It takes more effort to aim, but it's within 1" at 40 meters using slugs, is visible in all lighting, seems impervious to the shotgun recoil, and is half the price of the GB1000.

I have had this laser for over 7 years. It was on my AR15 and now is on my AR10. I have never had a problem with it. I have always been very impressed wih the range and brightness. When they say 1200 yds, it is no joke. The mount included was a little cheap, but I changed it out. I have used this laser countless times in the field and the performance, brightness, and accuracy are top notch.I also like that it sets you apart from the rest of the field, which usually are red lasers. I was the only one with a green laser out of about 200 in my organization. I have been one of several on a target many times and like knowing which dot is mine. You can usually see the beam traveling through the air as well due to the strength of the laser. (Mine was used almost exclusively on night shifts)I have tested it in severe weather, daily use, etc. and the only thing that has failed on me is the tail cap switch/pressure pad. And that was the pressure pad from so much use. You can buy replacements from a number of vendors.Overall, excellent product. Believe me, I have put this thing through hell, and it is stil going strong.
