Sony MDR-XB950/H Extra Bass Headphone - Silver (International Version)

Holy cow, what a killer price on some incredible headphones. Sound is awesome, bass is deep. Legit these are the best headphones I have ever owned. And they are so comfy and durable too! Wore them for hours at the airport, my ears felt just fine :)

As usual sony out did them selves. They are comfortable and able to be worn a long time. the sound drivers are amazing. However, the built-in EQ they put into this is lacking in the mid and high end. In order to push e\these headphones to their full potential I recommend you use a custom EQ. The drivers have an extremely high Hz range, and if you have the right software you can take advantage of it all and make it sound like the super premium headphones. Only you are saving 500$ just saying :)I highly recommend you use Equalizer APO, it gives you a full Hz EQ range. Here is my current EQ in the 5.1 surround setting.

For the price these are okay... Im a music pain and very picky. My old Bose (which cost a whole lot more) sound a lot better.. But all in all these are good..

I bought these for my dad a few months ago. They sound really great for the price. The ear muffs are comfy & allow for extended usage without any aches/pains. The build quality is great as well. It doesn't feel flimsy. And it has some flex to it as well. Which is always nice! Definitely worth the buy!

I was happy with these headphones when I got them -- for the first month or so, the sound quality was good and I had no issues. Now, just about six months later -- with really gentle use (they have been sitting on my desk at work and being plugged/unplugged from my computer) -- they barely work at all. One ear often goes silent and I have to fiddle with the cord to get any sound at all. I'm quite unhappy that I spent money on headphones I now need to replace.

I bought these because of the color and look and Sony always has some of the best sounding headphones I've heard for the price. Started noticing crackling on bass here and there on the left ear a couple months ago. Today the left can just went out completely while listening to a song. Really liked these for the value and sound but didn't make it a year while babying them and storing in a carrying bag.

Quality and sound are superb, comfort is unequal, basses are like nothing else. Over 30 years of experience and this are the best headphones money can buy. Oh and they're beautiful. Highly recommended.

These Sony phones are excellent. The price through Amazon was much better than I found anywhere. The phones themselves are extremely comfortable and cut out 90% of outside noise. They are comfortable enough to where when I work out and the gym or go for a run. Being a "bass fanatic" I am especially pleased with the great bass I get. I am using these when recording original music as well. A great investment.
