SpeckProducts CandyShell Grip iPhone Xs/iPhone X Case, White/Black

This color case (quartz pink/river blue) isn't as pink as it appears in the photo. It's a very light pink, that I think looks better than in the photo. The blue looks like the photo. I bought this color because it was a great price (US 8) for a great case. These cost 4-5 times more in the store.This is our 4th Speck case for iphones in the household. So far, they have all held up pretty well, and seem to do a great job of protecting the phones. We particularly like this model with the soft rubber ribs that create a secure grip on the phone. It's relatively sleek looking while offering good protection. The lip of the case extends a few millimeters beyond the protruding curved screen of the iphone X, so it protects the screen even if the phone is dropped face down (unless it hits a rock or something sharp). As a testimonial, we had an iphone 6 (with an older version of this case) fall off the roof of the car at 40 mph, land on the roadway, and didn't sustain any breakage. The case itself had a cracked edge, but it protected the phone. I recommend.

I love the white color because it’s easy to find. This cover is super sturdy. The black colored grips don’t show dirt, like other colors do. Long lasting, but not forever.

I bought this for my iPhone X before I had even gotten it. I wasn't sure how it would fit, etc. but Speck is a decent brand and I'm fairly happy with my purchase. The case is hard plastic with some rubbery grippy stuff on the back. I was worried about my phone slipping out of my hand if I only had a hard case. This solves both issues for me. The case extends enough over the phone face so if you lay it down the screen won't be scratched. Same on the camera side, as the case extends enough so no scratches there. Colors are also cute, which is a plus. Overall, I'm happy with this case.

I have often wondered why all these phone cases provide incredible protection yet neglect the main issue with smartphones. That is grip around the sides so you have less chance of dropping it. This case provides that protection.I have had to sandpaper down many other cases for a better grip but not this one. It is manufactured to ensure you have a great grip and protection for your phone if dropped. With that said I think it could be further enhanced with more rubber gripping on the sides but that's just me. This is the only case I have encountered that addresses grip as a means of holding onto the phone. I am not about having a ridiculously protected phone that makes it unweildable. This case makes it grippable while stylish and doesn't make it an inconvenient unweildy device that is hard to fit in your pocket and grip with one hand. Overall I highly recommend this case and want to implore them to make it even more better with the rubber protrusions extended throughout the case even though it may make it less attractive but fully efficient and effective...

Good purchase very durable

This is the 3rd Speck Candy Shell Grip I’ve owned and will never buy anything else. This is a perfect blend rubber and plastic, easy to slide in pants pocket and grips to where you want it e.g. table. Opening for camera, vol/power are a perfect fit (iPhone XS) Good hand grip and very durable, I’ve dropped my phone many times and the case has never broken nor has the glass of the phone . The reason this is my 3rd, size change of phone and desire for color change.I’ve never liked all rubber cases because it prevents a smooth slide into pants pockets when new, then wears and becomes slippery. The all plastic one run the risk of it sliding off a surface.

This is my third smartphone, and the third time I'm getting a CandyShell grip. I love the type of case. However, Ultraviolet Purple/Ruby Red is actually bright blue/coral.I spent a lot of money to get this imported, but the colors are not close to what's being advertised. I'd recommend the case type, but not this case.
