What happened??
I started buying this beef jerky when I found out I was pregnant (about 30 weeks ago) for the extra protein, and mainly chose this brand because it was organic. I'm not normally a huge meat eater and so by no means am a beef jerky aficionado or expert, but it was more than passable for me and I bought several bags over the course of several orders. The last two orders however, have been very different. It used to be a variety of sizes of strips of jerky, some tougher than others, some thicker, some fattier, etc. But the last two orders, they've all been bags of uniformly sized, square, thick slabs. They are all tough and hard and too thick. Still edible, the flavor is still pretty good, I was just hoping that the one shipment was a fluke but its looking like maybe not. Still hopeful it'll go back to the old style but if not, I probably won't be ordering anymore after this baby arrives!

Fantastic beef jerky
First time ordering this brand, so can only rate the single 3 oz bag I ordered. It was the thickest, tenderest beef jerky I've ever had. The fact that it's only 270mg of sodium per serving is an added bonus. Most jerky is at least 400 mg or more per serving. I am duly impressed with this product on first try.Many other brands provide really thin strips that are often tough to chew, like what I imagine shoe leather is like. This jerky was three times thicker than most jerky I've tried and it wasn't a jaw muscle workout to consume. It's a bit spicier than I was expecting, but that's a very minor complaint. Overall, best jerky I've tried by a landslide.

good jerky flavor a bit off
The jerky itself was pretty good, however the flavor I did not think lived up to its name at all. It tasted more like a plain jerky than a sweet n spicy. It was not sweet at all to me, and I did not feel any spice after eating the whole bag. It would have been very good as a plain jerky, but not as the labeled flavor.

Where's the spice?
I'm sure some people would love this jerky. For me it was too soft and only sweet. No spicy! I gave three because there wasn't anything wrong with it, just personal preference. But I'll never buy again.

Excellent Beef Jerky
This beef jerky is an excellent brand and the taste is great. I will buy again. Careful not to have too much of this as it has a lot of sodium. Of course this is true of all beef jerky.

i've had tastier beef jerky, but the price on this is very good for an organic jerky. i like turtles. (ok that's 20 words)

new version is no good
old version of this product with the packaging shown in the picture was good. the new brown crosshatch pattern package (3 oz bags) version is no good. seems they sold out and went for cheaper beef and/or processing. really bummed out.

Mold
Sadly, I love this jerky and have ordered it before. This time, several packages were very moldy!!! And there are no returns of refunds..I may not order this again.
