Extremely comfortable
I researched a lot before buying new walking boots after previous years buying cheaper products that didn’t last. Eventually decided on these ones and noted reviews said they come up a bit small, but they’re also available in 1/2 sizes, so I ordered 1/2 size up from normal and they fit perfectly. Super comfy from the first wear, absolutely no breaking in period. I have been out in rain, walking through wet grass and my feet have stayed perfectly dry. I’ve also been up and down hills and over uneven and screed surfaces and the grip is excellent. Admittedly the furthest distance I’ve worn them so far is about 5 miles, but I’m confident I could easily do more in these boots in comfort. I’m hopeful they’ll last me a couple of wintersThis seller had the best price I found, even with the delivery charge, and delivery was very quick

Quality boots
I had to buy these short notice for a 26 mile charity walk as my previous new boots failed me in the wet. These beauties have been instantly comfortable. No real need for wearing in, although I did spend two days at work and home wearing them, but yesterday I did a training walk of 26 miles in them and they certainly didn’t let me down. Good ankle support, great grip, they feel sturdy, yet light. It hasn’t rained on me yet, but I’ve had Gortex boots before and I know it will work. The previous boots that let me down weren’t Gortex!

Best Ladies Boots in this range hands down.
I could write all day about these boots but sometimes it is better to keep it short. I have been badgering my better half to get up in hills and outside with me for years and she has been bemoaning how she would if she had a decent pair of boots. I had had a pair of Merrells since uni a couple of decades ago and though they were still going strong they had lost their comfort and my feet had over time changed shape so I was also in the market for a replacement. It was in that vein that I undertook my usual days of research and bought what I thought would be the best pair of Merrell ladies walking boots available outside of specialist snow, ice & crampon range ie professional or winter boots. These boots appeared to tick all the boxes but after day 1 of her wearing them on a short 10km trial my good lady wife simply said, “ These are the best pair of boots I have ever put on my feet. I love them. I will never buy anything else ever again!”

Comfortable... BUT!!
These are very comfy boots BUT dont appear to be waterproof. I have been wearing them a few times now in the rain and each time my feet ended up being soaked. A great shame as very comfortable and lightweight.

Waterproof???? Really?!
I’ve had these boots for under 3 weeks and have only worn them 3-4 times . The weather has been dry each time but today the grass was heavily damp with dew (not rain!) and my socks are damp. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am . I did a 20 mile walk in them on Saturday, they were very comfortable, but if they can’t even cope with heavy dew they are sadly not fit for purpose in this country! I will be trying to find out if I can return them for a full refund as I am an all weather walker and these will be useless to me.

Great boots, but buy the next size up.
Really comfortable, no rubbing around the ankles. I was advised to get the next size up by my partner bought the same boots for men, which he replaced as his usual shoe size was a bit tight..These boots are excellent quality, they're great in all weather and terrain, lightweight and very grippy.

Perfect for winter walking
I have always had the Sports boot but decided to try these. They are heavier but I like the stability and grip better. Took a little wearing in but love them now. I went up a half size so my feet have more room. They have been perfect for the latest Siberian weather!

Best Hiking Boots I've Purchased!
I have had these boots for over a month now. Since then, they have hiked through gravel, sand, rivers and rain, not to mention a basic concrete footpath. They have kept my feet dry and comfortable all the while. I said to my partner the other day that I was so impressed by their quality. The grip on the sole is sturdy and non-slip enough for hiking over wet rocks.I wear a 5.5 UK size (Size 7.5 AUS and NZ) in normal shoes, so I purchased this size for my boots. This still allows room for thick socks, which I prefer to wear on hikes anyway. However, if you are only planning on wearing thin socks I would go half a size down.
