Works perfectly!
We ordered the 10 pack has we had 2 cables with broken clips. Got these installed in less than 10 seconds & they work perfectly. About 1 hour later, a 3rd cable clip broke so we installed another & it fixed our problem. They are a bit pricey but since they are nylon they should last a long time & not get brittle like the cheap plastic clips. They are super easy to put on & work perfectly. I definitely would buy these again & highly recommend them. We've already emailed out family & friends about them.

Quick fix for broken Ethernet cable clip
Popped it on as instructed and plugged the Ethernet cable into the back of the television. Worked perfectly and held the cable securely.

Perfect for RJ45 cables used OUTSIDE an office
If you work in a “properly” cabled facility in an office, you don’t need this, because all long cables are in the walls and terminate in a punchdown jack. The cable from the wall outlet has a broken tab? A new SlimRun cable may be cheaper than fixing the tab on the old one, if you don’t mind creating e-waste.But if your physical network infrastructure is less than perfect, and you have long and/or hard-to-restring CABLES with RJ45 plugs on them, these are an excellent repair to the delicate clip. Yes, I can snip off the bad connector (after taking a photo of the wire order…) and crimp a new connector on, but experience teaches that I’m pretty bad at it, and I should budget time and wire to test the cable and prepare to clip off my plug and try again. The people who should buy this right now: anybody using RJ45 connectors in a live/one-time/time-critical event; throw these in the to-go toolbox. Maybe you’ll never use them. But this product instantly repairs a common problem and requires no skill to install; you can send someone else to do it.

Great Product, Overpriced
These things are a great solution to broken retention clips on ethernet cables. They even work on snagless cables if you shave off some of the rubber on the end (there are videos out there that show how to do this, watch before attempting). The clips are sturdy and snap into place nicely. Broken cables are restored to a usable condition. In my case I had a 100 foot cable running through a large part of my house with a broken clip on one end that would not have been easy to remove and replace. This fixed the issue. The problem is that they are extremely overpriced. They need to either give you more clips for the money, or charge a lot less. I would give them five stars if they were cheaper or they gave you like 20 or 30 clips for this price. The product itself is fantastic.

These are superior to their standard transparent counterparts.
They are sturdy and flexible at the same time. They perform the task of securing rj45 ends into their respective ports extremely well. I won’t be investing in the transparent kind from here on out.

Doesn't work on snagless ethernet cables!
I have no idea if and how well these clips work since all my cables have snagless connectors and these clips don't fit on them. I didn't see anything in the description saying that it works only on straight ethernet connectors. Disappointing.

It does work!
I have to admit, I received these and quickly popped them on and got frustrated at first since they at first did not work. I was close to writing a review saying it did not work at all --- but just be patient and read the doc, and it worked great/ You pop it on near the back of the connector and I was missing the part that you have to tuck in the tab on this part under the stub of where the old clip works, and it worked good. Also I looked at the video on rjclip site. Worth the money.

Finicky connections for internet
This was used to for a connection that the part that holds the wire in the comuter broke. It's the little tap that locks the internet connection into the slot. It works however, if the computer moves or the cable for some reason it takes a while to reposition the cable to get a good connection. I can see if it is used on something that can be secured so that once the connection is made that there is no movement, but in a real world work environment this is not really practicel. I would have returned but due timing the return window had closed. Amazon for the most part is very good about takeing back defective or none working parts, but this time due to my oversite I have to eat the cost of these. Maybe I will find a way to use them so that my costs are not totally wasted. Be warned they are finicky when it comes to keeping a connection.
