Arc International Cristal d'Arques Longchamp Diamax Old Fashioned Glass, 7-3/4-Ounce, Set of 6

My wife and I first chose the Longchamps Cristal d'Arques line as our formal glassware 27 years ago when we were married, and we've collected over 75 pieces since then, including various drinking glasses, salt/pepper shakers, sugar bowl, wine decanter, candlestick holders, vase, etc. The quality is exceptional for the price, the pieces are elegant looking but durable, they feel comfortable in your hand, and the design is timeless. In fact, over the years, we've seen this line of glassware used on numerous television shows and movies. You just can't beat the look and quality for the price.

This drinkware is excellent. It has the look and feel of crystal, but is very affordable. They are also very durable. I have wine and highball glasses that are 20 years old and look the same as the newest ones I recently purchased. I have been adding to my collection. I highly recommend them.

Beautiful. Not leaded to any noticeable degree - it is a bit light in the hand. Perfect when one doesn't want to bring out the expensive stuff biut wants a festive ambiance in barware.

Love this pattern, however the glasses I received are marked as 24% leaded crystal. They are not lead free as the description states.

Received my 6 glasses today. They are beautiful but not "Made from diamax (a revolutionary new ultra clear lead-free glass)" as stated in the description, What I had ordered were DIAMAX lead free crystal glasses, the glasses delivered to me had a 24% LEAD content labeled on each glass. Returning mine.

UPDATE: Vendor was very prompt and gracious in refunding the purchase. Just be aware that these glasses are very attractive, but they are not lead-free crystal. These are advertised as Diamax lead-free crystal, but as you can see in the pictures, these are clearly the older, lead crystal version. Each piece is tagged "Genuine 24% Lead Crystal." Would be nice if they were what I had ordered. I've been using the Longchamp crystal glasses for more than 15 years in multiple sizes. They always hold up well, look great on a formal dinner table or semi-casual cocktail party, and you can easily order replacements for the occasional chip. I put the stemless glasses in the dishwasher..use them daily...and rarely have to replace one. Best buy in crystal glasses!

This really seem to "fit" in your hand so well. I actually purchased them as juice glasses but we are using them for juice and wine and anything else that we want a smaller glass. They really are very clear glass, beautiful guality. I'm ordering a 2nd set today we like them so much. UPDATE: Unfortunately these chip around the top. I have had to toss about half of them. This is really disappointing as I really like these glasses.

Very nice set of six whisky tumblers. Quite a good weight in the hand, each glass weighs 225g.Dimensions: Height 3.5," diameter 2.75"The Longchamps design consists of nine sides to the exterior of the glass (but smooth, round inside) and the typical diamond faceting round the base of the glass. Very attractive looking.As well as for the house, I get these sets for the holiday cottage for guests use - they're more upmarket than Supermarket glassware, but are pretty hard wearing and don't go cloudy after being put through a dishwasher time after time, they always sparkle. Guests are impressed by the quality and always say how nice they are to use.Although they're not bomb proof, they do stand up to everyday wear and tear very well indeed.You'd never mistake them for lead crystal, but as good quality table glasses I appreciate them and I know the guests do. Besides, I don't even trust myself with lead crystal, let alone the visitors.I've just bought this set of six as I do need to replace a couple of the ones in the cottage - but the others have been in there for years, which is testament to how forgiving these glasses are. I use this range as well - there's nothing not to like. Lovely glassware.
