This silverware is very nice. I bought it because my sister-in-law has had the same set for quite some time that she bought at a store. I purchased mine last month, and one of the knives already has rust on it.... I didn't think 18/10 stainless steel would rust that easily and quickly. I threw all the packaging away and can't return it. Disappointed to say the least.

This set will last a long time because it is heavy duty & not easy to bend. If is an elegant pattern & has 12 place settings plus serving pieces - everything you need.

I bought this in August of 2012 and just ordered another full set (January 2018). Guess you could say I like this -- a lot!I've never had any problems with rust, as mentioned in another review, even though I sometimes leave pieces sitting in water in the sink (a big no-no). 18/10 stainless steel is made to resist rust. IF I had any discoloration or rust, I sure as heck wouldn't SAND it off, permanently damaging the finish and making it even MORE susceptible to rust!!!The best thing for shining up stainless steel flatware (besides caring for it properly) is a product called NEV'R DULL magic wadding polish. Stinky, but it works! I use it to polish used flatware that I sell on eBay.So, back to the flatware --- I really wanted hammered handles, but most were too expensive. I do have to say that there's one minor negative, and someone else mentioned it --- the sharp corners are sometimes a little pokey. Not bad, but sometimes. Still, that's part of the contemporary look that the rounded pieces in other sets just don't have.

I just bought my 2nd set after having the original one for 5 years. Zero rust, nothing wrong with it, just needed more spoons. I bought mine through a private seller Spencer Mitchell and too bad that he just lowered the price by $10 only 3 days after I received my order. A good deal in any case!I never leave my dirty spoons etc sitting in water, they get rinsed and put on the side of the sink if the DW isn't available for reload. The shine is still the same when I compared the brand news ones. 4 kids haven't been able to damage any of them. I went to Macy's to see the size in person before buying the 1st set...the size and weight are perfect for kids as well as adults. The style blends with almost any decor.

Knives are really heavy and account for most of the weight in the set. I always think nice sets are heavy.. so I was checking weights in the descriptions. I was surprised to see the forks and spoons were not very heavy or thick. I gave these to my daughter and she liked them very much. They are very pretty. The packaging is great. The unopened box is very heavy. Set Looks expensive if you need a gift. Very modern pattern that matched my daughters square plates.

Beautiful Silverware!

I initially purchased this set in 2013, and purposefully waited for some age prior to reviewing. This has been a very sturdy, high quality set of flatware that has endured almost daily dishwasher cycles, grandchildren and general abuse. I've noticed only very tiny spots of wear on one or two pieces, but otherwise it is still very attractive and looks as good as when first purchased. I must have gotten the set on sale, or it has really appreciated in price - admittedly I paid about $130 less than what is currently advertised, but would readily pay this current price based on the positive experience I've had with the style and quality.

Muy bonitos, buena calidad, son de acero inox, por lo que son un poco pesados, son tamaño normal, pero el set es un poco pequeño, esperaba que fueran un poco mas grandes, aún así estoy muy contenta con mi compra, los compré a muy buen precio y son perfectos! Me encantaron!

These were a replacement for my mismatched outdated cutlery and they are a great deal for the price. They are hefty and well balanced, but it took some getting used to the increased weight.They are much bigger than standard 1$ cutlery, so the old drawer needed a rethinking.Haven't had any problem with scratching, staining or rust; these will stay with me for a while.Update: the metal is not compatible with my Ikea plates (or ceramic kind of plates); they are all scratched and make that awful scraping noise when used. Other than that, good stuff.
