Glad to have found this model! Great for plus sized users.
Very sturdy. I had a no load bearing injury and used this at max weight capacity+ for 3 months straight and it held up very well. Easy to assemble and fold for transport. The bag was also very useful. Was mostly used over concrete and carpet and was able to move with ease. I lost some of the hubcaps and valve stem covers, but those were mostly just for asthetics so no big deal. Towards the end of use i did find myself filling the tires maybe once every 2 weeks, but remember, i was using it at capacity. The price made it worthwhile since i would have paid the same for a rental. Im 5’8” and felt it may have been a little high at first, but I had gotten used to it. I do wish that maybe the seat angle could have been adjustable instead of fixed. I also bought the gel cushion, but it made it more slippery and uncomfortable for me.

Outstanding Sturdiness and a Comfort for those with foot surgery.
When faced with the daunting challenge of recovering from major foot surgery, I discovered a beacon of hope and mobility in the Vive Mobility All Terrain Knee Scooter Walker. This remarkable device is not merely a tool for getting around; it is a lifeline that restored my independence and significantly improved my quality of life during a critical period of healing. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a clear understanding of the needs of those recovering from foot, ankle, or lower leg injuries, the Vive Mobility Knee Scooter is a testament to innovative design and engineering. Its robust build quality immediately instills confidence, ensuring users that they are supported by a device that can withstand the rigors of daily use, while also being gentle on recovering bodies. The scooter's standout feature, its 12-inch pneumatic wheels, offers unparalleled stability across a myriad of terrains. Whether navigating the soft carpet of my living room, the uneven gravel paths of local parks, or the bustling sidewalks of the city, the scooter glided with an ease that made mobility feel almost effortless. This ease is further enhanced by the scooter's dual rear-disk brake system, which provides exceptional control and safety, even on gentle inclines or uneven surfaces. Another aspect of the scooter that deserves high praise is the contoured knee pad. Designed with the user's comfort in mind, the foam cushion cradles the lower leg, distributing pressure evenly to alleviate pain and reduce fatigue in the hip, knee, and leg. This thoughtful design made each journey on the scooter not just possible, but comfortable. The Vive Mobility Knee Scooter is also remarkably user-friendly in terms of adjustability and storage. The height-adjustable cushioned knee platform and steering handle ensure a perfect fit for users of various heights, enhancing comfort and control. Moreover, the convenience of the removable knee platform and folding steering handle cannot be overstated, making storage and transport a breeze. Perhaps what sets this scooter apart the most is the included storage bag, a simple yet incredibly useful addition. It allowed me to carry my essentials securely, adding a layer of practicality and independence that traditional crutches could never offer. In conclusion, the Vive Mobility All Terrain Knee Scooter Walker is not just a mobility aid; it is a game-changer for anyone recovering from foot, ankle, or lower leg surgery. Sturdy, comfortable, and highly maneuverable, it stands as a testament to the fact that with the right support, recovery can be a journey of empowerment and independence. It was worth every penny, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone facing a similar journey to recovery.

Good and sturdy scooter
I underestimated how hard it is to not put a foot on the ground for 4-6 weeks! This scooter has made some of the everyday things that I need to do much easier. I want to give this knee scooter 5 stars because I do believe that it is better than average. The big air-inflated tires make it feel safe when rolling over uneven terrain, and the hand brakes work really well. I use the brake locking mechanism a lot. If I need to be up in the kitchen, etc., you can lock the brake and have a sturdy “leaning post” under you while you cook, etc. Having the brakes locked also keep the scooter from moving away from you when you are getting out of a chair, etc. My reason for 4 stars instead of five: The seat is extremely hard and is uncomfortable on your leg when you have your full weight on it for more than a few minutes. I would not be able to use the scooter without the extra memory foam pad that I bought for it. I also wish that the seat would go lower. I am 5’6” and with the seat in the lowest setting, my “pushing foot” is on its tip-toes to reach the floor if I want to stand straight up. To push the scooter with a flat foot, I end up having to lean in a position that puts some pressure on my hip, and by the end of the day, my lower back is sore if I have had to be up and around a lot. The last reason is minor but the bag on the front of the scooter is cheap, at best. It won’t open wide enough to put my small purse in. I ended up taking it off and getting a basket for the front.

Very sturdy and I felt safe
The scooter was a game changer when I broke my foot. I love how it’s easy to maneuver. I felt sturdy and steady on. It took a minute to get used to, but was soon zooming all around the house. After about a month it started to squeak and I thought it was the knee pad, but it turned out the tires just needed air.

Much safer in winter conditions than the standard knee walker
Excellent quality and much more stable than the knee walker with hard 8” wheels. I live in MN and the small knee walker I had is horrible in winter conditions. It was almost unusable in parking lots or anywhere they had put down rock salt. Everything you hit would make the wheels veer off in another direction. This knee walker with the larger air filled soft wheels is a game changer for mobility. The tires did need to be aired up when I got it but assembly was very easy. I use the small knee walker in the house and this one for when I go out. The knee pad on this is also really nice and thick.

Absolutely fantastic product. Well designed, solid, comfortable, almost ready to use straight out of the box. Have being using crutches for the last few months, and they are hard work especially over long distances. This scooter requires much less effort, allows travel over longer distances and with reduced chance of falling. Travels easily over gravel, grass and bumpy tarmac. Folds down easily to fit into the back of a car. I would recommend this to anyone with foot, ankle or leg problems

This product is certainly more comfortable than crutches (I broke my ankle in two places). However, it’s SUPER TALL. Even when the pad is on the lowest setting I need to walk on my tippy toes on my good foot - and I am not short (I’m 5’8”). I would warn short people to measure carefully before purchasing. The device itself is good but a little cumbersome. However, I give 4 stars for sturdiness and maneuverability because each day it’s a little better for me. I expect it just takes practice. Also, be sure you have a tire pump to inflate the wheel (something I did not think about when I ordered it, but it could not be used without the tires being inflated first). Finally, (and this was my own misunderstanding, no fault of the seller) you cannot sit on this scooter and move. You can sit on the seat and rest for a moment, but it really is not built for sitting and scooting. You need to look at the more expensive models if you want to sit and scoot.

This scooter is well made and feels very good quality. However, it’s quite large for indoor use. I’m 5ft 4in and even on the lowest settings, both the seat and handlebars are still too high for me. I’d say you’d need to be around 5ft 6in or taller to feel comfortable. It’s also worth noting that the tyres need pumping up before first use. The seat is fairly firm as well, so I would recommend purchasing an additional seat cushion for extra comfort. Unfortunately, due to the height, I’ve had to return it as it just wasn’t suitable for me.

I have a broken foot and ribs. I was duschsrged from A&E with crutches and told I could not put any weight on my foot. Horrendous. This scooter has been fantastic. I can wizz round the house and go on hospital check ups without the need to use crutches which caused me a lot of pain. I think the extra knee pad is essintial - the one that comes with the scooter is very lumpy and caused me to bruise my legs but the pad makes it much better. Only other issue is that if, like me, you have large feet the knee pad needs to be set up quite high otherwise the foot gets caught in the back wheels. Otherwise excellent. Folds up tidily to go in the boot too. Well worth the money

I bought this knee scooter with the idea of adapting it for my own situation. I am an above knee amputee so I thought I’d be able to put a seat on and scoot. It works so incredibly well, I’m over the moon. The scooter frame is strong, the steering good and it is well balanced. The bag is big enough to put a small amount of groceries in or I emptied the dishwasher by putting a few things in the bag at a time. I walk my elderly husky with it, being careful, it is a joy to get out and about in an upright position compared to sitting in a wheelchair all day. I’m looking forward to using it to plant up my greenhouse come the growing season. The big wheels are good on tarmac, gravel and short grass. I can’t comment on using it as a knee scooter as I can’t use it as it was intended to be used, but recommend its sturdiness and usefulness.
