LG 55UK6400 55 Inch Smart 4K UHD TV

Very pleased with the picture quality and specification of the TV. Only slight annoyance is the LG remote which has some rather illogical ways of selecting things...but OK when you are familiar with it.

I only got this TV yesterday, so this is very much a first impressions review.Firstly the ease of setting it up. No problem on this front, part of the reason I chose this particular model was the stand. I didn't personally like the models that had the feet on either side and suspected they would limit where I could put the TV. I had a choice of two units but one of them was considerably lower as it was it fitted perfectly which wouldn't have been the case if I'd gone for the feet on either side models.The stand was easy to fit and despite some saying it allows TV to rock about it's not a problem you're liable to encounter if you place it somewhere sensible.The initial set up took about 10/15 minutes and the menus were relatively easy to navigate.The picture is great in my opinion but I understand that you can get blacker blacks on other models and the colours may not be bright enough to suit all tastes.I found that I had no issues with either of the above.Selecting different modes for gaming and watching TV works well and there was a vast improvement over my last gen TV.The preset sound appears quite quiet but on putting it into surround mode the volume ramped up considerably and the quality is good to these ears.This isn't the most expensive 4k hdr set you can get but neither is it the cheapest.For the money I'd have no hesitation in recommending it personally.As with most things in life personal preference is key and I spent a while researching sets before deciding on this one, which I'm exteremely happy with.

Again an outstanding tv by LG ...I've allways bought LG tvs and never been let down ... this is my first 55" and its Brill....got it mounted on the wall ....fantastic pic and features ... only thing against it is it only comes with a standard remote and no magic remote ...but i got a second hand one at next to nothing .. it works perfect ...for the price it's a no brainer ...its a must 5 star buy ...

Premier achat multimédia amazon. Très bien emballée lors de la réception. Utilisation quotidienne depuis plus d'un an. Super couleurs. Le son vient de l'arrière de la tv... il faut s'habituer (peu de temps) mais très belle qualité sonore. Prises diverses suffisantes pour consoles, décodeur, blu ray etc...
