Twinings Assam Strong and Mighty 80 Tea Bags

Strong and malty and delicious

bold strong Black tea, just right for me.

The item was received on time and in good condition. I have not opened the inner seals yet, as I still have a few bags left on-hand. As this one of my favorite teas, I am sure that I will be very pleased with it.

We were introduced to this tea by a restaurant manager after we were served iced "tea" from a fountain. He was from India and explained its origin to us. We have fallen in love with it, but can't find it on the shelves of our local stores, so we've ordered several times from Amazon. It brews a very strong tea, so try it cautiously at first.

I discovered this tea while on a queen Mary 2 trans Atlantic voyage. I usually drink English breakfast tea, but this was a very robust, tasty and delightful tea, which I now have added to my daily tea drinking ritual. I prefer it straight with a small amount of sugar, sans milk. A wonderful afternoon treat.

My usual tea is Twinings English Breakfast but my new favorite is Assam tea so I was excited to try Twinings. The taste is fine but I was disappointed that the bags are not individually wrapped to make keeping it in a canister easier.
