1.5kg cant eat in one go. how do i store surplus? pantry cupboard? fridge? freeze? i usually toast dry, ground to powder, make hot sauce or fried rice

I personally soak the dry cod and change water 3 times for 3 days and after pat drying freeze separately and use amount needed for meal. Never heard of toast dry or ground to powder are you sure it's dry an salted cod you want?
