Big, strong & long BUT bad for USB-C compatibility
EDIT: Below the line is my original review, which I have now revised following six weeks of use. I originally gave this phone 4 stars but I have downgraded this to 2 stars for the following reasons:- one of the reasons I bought the phone (for £250!!) was because the cameras are supposed to be especially good. As you will see from the original review, the main camera hasn't worked properly since I received it. I now see that there is actual dust or other particulates obscuring one of the lenses — inside the handset! This explains why the camera never focuses properly, which has effectively stopped me from using Instagram as I can no longer take acceptable photos. I have never opened-up the device so that must be from the manufacturing process.- This speaks to a broader issue: build quality. I personally like the fact that the enclosure screws are visible and accessible along the complete edge of the device but some of these screws are already loose, which further suggests manufacturing flaws.- The proprietary USB cable. This is simply insane — not only are replacement cables not available on Amazon (where I bought the handset) but there doesn't even appear to be anything available on the Oukitel website. If I need to charge my phone I have only one cable that I can use, which is simply unsustainable. All told, if I'd spent under £100 for this phone I'd accept these issues but, for the price I paid, I am extremely dissatisfied. If Oukitel would care to respond, I'd be happy to discuss further._________________________________ORIGINAL REVIEW:I bought the Oukitel K10 for 2 main reasons: battery life and durability. So far I am very happy with the build quality compared to the Samsung S8 I accidentally smashed. A few points to consider before buying though:AUDIO JACK: there is no 3.5mm audio jack on this phone, although it does come with an adaptor. This means that you can either plug in the power supply OR you can plug in headphones but not both simultaneously. This may not be a problem for people with a wireless charging dock and/or BlueTooth headphones, but it's something you should be aware of before buying.USB-C: the cable and adaptor that are included with the phone work reasonably well (there is occasional electronic interference when connected to the 3.5mm headphone adaptor), however you should be aware that the USB-C socket in the base of the phone is NON-STANDARD. The socket is recessed more than on other devices, requiring a 10mm long USB-C jack (as opposed to the standard 8.25mm) - this means that none of the USB cables you already own will function with this device as they will not make an effective connection. There are very few vendors supplying this type of connector (I found 1 on Ali Express) and so far, the 2 power/audio splitting adaptors I have bought from Amazon have not been the correct size. This is probably the biggest drawback of the K10 and something you need to seriously consider as not even Oukitel currently appears to sell additional cables/accessories that fit this phone. I will update if I find out more info.SIZE/WEIGHT: No-one should be buying this phone expecting a sleek, lightweight device - that is quite clearly not going to be the case from specs listed on the site. It is heavy, it is big, it is bulky. If you don't like that, this is definitely not the phone for you. In the past I had a Windows Lumia 1525 phablet and this is much more comfortable to hold and use one-handed.BATTERY: so far, I have only needed to charge my phone every 2-3 days (!!!) compared to my S8, which would be dead by 10pm of Day 1. This is by far the biggest appeal for this phone and is why it is so heavy - that's a simple trade off for me as I was already carrying around an even heavier power pack with me to charge my S8 on the go, which I no longer need to do.SCREEN: great, nice and big, lovely clear HD display.OS: the device is shipped with Android 7 with almost no bloatware. While it has more than enough power to run Android 8, this has not yet been made available. From what I have seen online, this is planned and will be pushed to users at a later date - but no sign yet. It's difficult to tell whether the occasional minor lagging and stuttering on HD streaming is down to the device or the OS. I will update if I find out more.CAMERA: This one is a bit odd. A bonus point for me buying this phone specifically was the high-quality camera specs. While I haven't had much of a chance to use it yet, the photos I have taken have been very unsatisfactory compared with pictures on my S8, especially with poor focusing and lack of optical zoom. I suspect the former is a software issue but I haven't yet tried to use a different camera app from the native Android 7 software. I will edit this if I find a solution.FEATURES: device ships with 2 screen protectors (one already affixed) and a low-profile protective case, 1 charging cable, 1 charging adaptor (UK 3-pin), 1 USB-C male to USB female adaptor, and a 3.5mm headphone adaptor. It also allows you to have a 2nd SIM inserted in the micro SD expansion slot, meaning you can have 2 numbers on the same phone.CONCLUSION: I am not disappointed with my purchase - the excellent battery life and high build-quality are worth the cost by themselves and I generally prefer a larger screen. Some of the above issues that I encountered are likely to be resolved as more people buy the product and more support is requested. As a simple rule, if you want a sleek, reliable phone with good support, don't get this device (or any other Chinese clone): there is always a risk when going with a relative unknown such as Oukitel. If, on the other hand, you want a smartphone with the longest battery life I've ever seen and don't mind something the size/weight of a SATA HDD drive, then this is a worthwhile investment.

Impressed!
This is my second Oukitel. Nothing wrong with the first one, just wanted NFC and google pay. Saw the battery size and decided to take a chance. Only been using it for a month, so hopefully it will continue to work well.Very impressed with battery. I use the phone quite a lot and the battery easily lasts a full 2 days. Charging is quick.Although the phone is thicker and heavier, I have not found it to be a problem and do not really notice it in my pocket.Transfer from old phone to new was easy with just a few apps that needed reloading. Screen size is good and picture quality no problem. Not sure about camera quality but will keep testing.Downside is the 7.1 operating system. Should be 8, and expected an upgrade but nothing happening. However, the phone works great!

Endless Battery, Fast Charging, and all-round Reliability
I bought this phone as I needed something with enough juice to keep going on 5-10 hour delivery shifts, as I'm always on the go and it's not convenient for me to use power banks. This phone does the job, looks cool, doesn't lag and charges very fast with the 5A charger that comes with the phone.Just finished a 6 hour shift and burned around 25% of my battery (on low brightness + adaptive brightness setting). With a regular phone I would have already run out of battery at this point. It took around 30 minutes to get it back to full chargeVery satisfied with my purchase

Great until it stopped working after 12 months and two weeks..
Worked perfectly for 12 months and 2 weeks and then the battery started to overheat and turn off randomly, now it doesn't work at all. Had to buy a new phone. V frustrated. It wasn't that cheap....

Okitel k10000
Amazing battery life, the camera is good quality. The phone operation is quick and reliable. Great for on the go report writing, Sat nav , with no worrying about the battery charge. The display is good enough to watch online video. comes with a basic protdctive case. I'm more than happy with this phone.

K10 got 6 days life out the box!
I purchased this phone for my best friend who wanted a large battery phone due to working long shifts etc.I received the phone on Friday and the lottery lasted until Thursday Eve (6 full days) on its first charge without having to charge it at all. It has been used a considerable amount and can't really find anything to fault it for the price.I myself have a p20 pro. The K10 is slightly bigger in overall size with the screen pretty much the same size. It's a really nice looking and well built phone with absolutely no blemishes anywhere. The leather back on the phone is a really nice finish also.It has seriously made me consider how little difference there is between the phones other than the camera being better on p20 pro but when I come to renew I will definitely be looking to see what oukitel have to offer then.Hopefully it will get an update to android 8 sometime soon and that would be a nice touch. We even tried charging my phone from his K20 and that worked with no issues.Only gripe I would have is that the charging port is longer than a standard type c so you will need to have your cable when you do eventually need to charge your phone. It was used until empty and charged in around 2 hours which I thought was great.Pretty much a week charge on a full battery with average use and so far the phone has had no issues at all.Well done Oukitel!
