Was working good and helped with grip but once I needed to take it off the velcro stitching started to come off.

I cut off the brand label as it was IMHO in position that bothered my grip. some other brands provide the additional flaps to protect the leadpipe and/or bell flare at similar prices and different colors or patterns

The neoprene felt great - soft and grippy. However it was a little thick, even for my large hands. Also, the velcro strip got in the way of my valves. Maybe it just takes some getting used to, but I reverted to my old thinner leather wrap.

I love this trumpet wrap. I bought a 2nd to put on my C trumpet as well. A great buy for under $10. I had originally wanted a new wrap after my old leather (or synthetic leather maybe) had been worn and actually left markings on my trumpet. Definitely did not want that anymore. This material feels great in your hands. It is very grip-y reminding me of cabinet liner or similar material. Leaves no markings. If the horn feels good in your hands, you'll play better!

i recently bought a new french horn and i didn't want to take the finish off the horn so i decided to buy this.the only problem i have with it is that the label is on the outside by were my thumb wraps around but i got used to it and that when i put it on i pulled too hard and ripped it but that was my faultit doesn't cover as much finish of the horn as i would like but that's just meall in all i like this hand brace its very comfortable and my hand doesn't slip at all anymore and i do recommend it to anyone looking to protect the finish or have their hand slip less

My skilled and talented son dented a valve on accident. Well the repair cost me $100 bucks. I wish I would have purchased this prior to the accident. I think it provides just enough protection for minor dings. I dont think this would work to protect the trumpet from a major fall or hard bang, but it is perfect for daily classroom dings. The instructor says he only suggests this for trumpets with delicate plating, I really believe this would have protected my sons trumpet and would have saved me the $100 repair bill. It does not change the sound of the trumpet - at least not to my ear. In my opinion all students should use these.

This is an amazing product. I bought this for my French horn because my pinky would always get sore after long practices. After using this product for almost 3 months I haven't had a problem! It fits to my horn well and has a nice memory foam-like feel. The only downside is that it smells a bit like tires.

This is a French horn hand guard, not a trumpet guard as the title says. It is a really excellent item. I was having real trouble with the heavy double French horn biting into the webbing between my thumb and index finger. This product solved that problem immediately. It is very easy to put on and take off, unlike leather laced guards. It also gives much more cushioning than the leather guard I have. I have ordered a second one so that I will have a spare should anything happen to this one. A great, useful product.

At first it looks too small. But this item is stretchy. Before you fit it, give it a few good tugs in all directions. It will fit, and feels very comfortable and cushiony under the left hand. Also feels secure, and looks smart. Much better than the bootlace version. Buy it.
