Silva Ultramind's Remote Viewing and Remote Influencing (8 Compact Discs/2 Bonus Discs/PDF Workbook) by Dennis Higgins and John La Tourrette (2003-01-01) Audio CD

As the previous reviewer, who actually listened to and studied the audio CD course, I too have found the format very easy to follow along, and helpful. To me, 5 stars would have you remote viewing in half an hour, so the 4 stars is by no means a sign of dissatisfaction. I believe some people misunderstand books, cds and dvds designed to help people develop special abilities are not magic. Just like taking a pill, and ordering a weight set won't get you into magazine photo shape. You actually have to invest in a lifestyle change. Thus, utilizing this book, and being patient, as well as realistic should provide most people with a greater knowledge than they had prior to the purchase of this program. That's about all you can really ask. The CDs are never too long, and provide great stopping points between one CD to another, to go back and review, practice, and know exactly where you're at. I'm quite please with the format, the presentation, and the ease of following the exercises being presented in real time. John urges the practitioner to continue working the basic mental techniques from the beginning to truly enjoy and benefit from the more advanced exercises. Don't be frustrated by this. After all. What's the hurry? Slow down, relax, take your time, and make sure you do it right. You'll be pleased you did. For me, I've found it hard to focus via book exercises and having a guide, along with the benefit of binaural meditation beats, is a welcomed feature for me.In terms of just who these people are and their mannerisms, I have never met either speaker. However, repeatedly during the program, both men express the advice to devote love and service to not just yourself, but to other human beings, which did not strike me as arrogant or rude in any way. In fact, there is nothing selfish about this program, as the instructions clearly state these exercises are to be used for positive outcomes to all circumstances, and not to hurt, mislead or take from anyone. A far cry from the opinion of one review on here.Depending on what is expensive to you, this program may or may not be a good bargain. All I know, is I've invested in books, seminars, dvds and downloads to expand my mental awareness, costing much more than this one, I did not find nearly as effective. Of course, all the above is just my opinion, but should your expectations lead you to think you'll become an instant expert on remote viewing simply by opening the box or playing a few of the cds, only once, I believe you will feel challenged finding any program helpful.

this is not the us army version of remote viewing. it's the teachings of jose silva. he was one of the great teachers of esp of the 20th century. title is mis-leading but the tapes are pretty good. I am thinking about getting some of his other tape sets after listening to this.

This home study course is easy to follow and keeps me motivated to finish it. I have faith that I will be able to do remote viewing by the time I'm through it all. I certainly have the desire and this course gives me the means.

It gives a lot of different methods so it takes a while to go through them all, but very concise.

Amazing Mind Powers

This is a very powerful program which, in my opinion, represents an advancement to the traditional Silva Method. It is a combination of lecturing (Higgins and La Tourette)and exercises (La Tourette). The exercises are compulsory to achieve the goals. There are 8 CD's plus a workbook CD, an alpha and theta sound CD and a collection of presentations by the late Jose' Silva. You can find the list of everything on:[...]The fundamental point is that you need to achieve this program with enthusiam and an open mind. If you are not willing to accept that remote viewing and influencing are achievable, then you should not buy this product.The strong points of this course is that it is clear and simple. As long as a person is willing to invest the time in it, s/he will get results. If you get stuck, there is an Ultramind support group online. Because of my extensive background in meditation and personal development I jumped onto this product rather than simpler versions of the Silva method which is about fourty years old.A minor point is that the workbook is not very useful. However, it brings across the importance of diaring events as a person works on the course.I am slowly working through the program, but I can see some benefits already. However, this is not a program to work on for a full weekend. You need to pace yourself and keep doing it daily for a couple of months.The delivery overseas was very fast.

Love the CDs, but cannot get to play on any PC

It was a gift to my sister. I liked what I heard. The techniques could have been longer and less rushed.
