Had to return it and couldn't get another so was disappointed.

We've been looking for a frame for this picture for ages. This really fit the bill. Not yet hung it on the wall but ordered the grey, it's perfect for the picture, very well packaged and arrived earlier than expected...... I think we may need to order another one for the other side of the chimney breast.....and also another print!! Thanks.

The frame is made of wood and has rustic style with a raw surface like from the saw - not polished. The finish is kind of mate. Looks good and does not distract from the photo print I put in. BUT it is metric in size 20x20cm which is a tiny bit smaller than the advertised 8x8 inches which was the size of the cardboard mat the print came with. So finally I ended up with a frame size I could have gotten cheaper from my local Amazon (which I did not use as inch sized frames are rare there) and cutting the mat to size which I tried to avoid by buying from Amazon UK. My fault - and the frame is nicely made from solid wood and genuine glass and it came generousely packed to avoid transport damage.

While a decent product in its construction, the advertised sizes are incorrect. The hole sizes in the mount are exactly 5x7, when of course they need to be smaller for the picture to fit. It firstly says 5x7, then (130x180), which are mm. If we convert 130x180 into imperial, it gives us a size of 5.11' x 7.05'. If your pictures are this size, then this is a great frame, if they're 5x7 inches, then they won't fit.

First package the glass was smashed. It was replaced but this time the wood on the frame is chipped in several places

This frame is really a tale of two sizes, viewed as a frame for 20cm x 20cm it is superb, and I would give it a five star rating for quality at the price, and precision of fit. Viewed as 8in x 8in it is a very different matter, I had a print in an 8"x8" mount, and it would not fit. Converting imperial to metric, you actually need 20.3cm x 20.3cm. That missing 0.3 is a real pain. The frame does actually come with a mount of it's own, and if this will do you I heartily recommend this well-made product. However, if you need to fit in an 8in x 8in mount I suggest you look elsewhere.
