pediped Riddell Flat (Big Kid)

My husband and I bought our daughter her first Pediped shoe in NYC. We bought her a silver pair of Mirabella shoes, one of the "Originals" for beginning walkers. After trying other shoes, we found that the Pediped was the only shoe that did not make her feet STINK. Who knew that baby feet could smell? Anyway, so I decided to try this sneaker since the first shoe we bought had been so great and she is now a pretty confident walker. I found that although it is lightweight and more breathable than the other shoes that had made her feet stinky, her feet still get stinky in these. I am a little disappointed, but I think it is just that the Mirabellas are made of pretty much entirely leather, and these are synthetic and have a fabric lining.I do love that they slide on and off really easily. Other shoes that we have tried have made me feel like I'm breaking her ankle and yet they are somehow still too big once they are on her feet. These go on without a problem as long as I've opened the velcro strap and pulled the tongue back to allow room for her foot to slide in. Coming off is a piece of cake - I can take them off with one hand while carrying her into the house.In terms of size they fit exactly as I expected them too. I used the printout that Pediped provides on their website to measure her foot, but also just gauged it on the fit of her Mirabellas. It does not really equate to other shoes of the same size, so I definitely recommend using the printout that is on the site (make sure to turn off zoom/scale options). I would NOT recommend the app they have for the iPad - whenever her toes touch it, it causes the screen to think it is being swiped and it goes to another app.She is 16 months, on the small side (about 20 pounds), and wears a size EU 20.Pros:- Lightweight- Adorable!- Easy to get on and off- Breathable- WashableCons:- Still get sweaty/stinky feet- Synthetic uppers

These are a little longer than I expected them to be, but the generous width is just perfect for my toddler, whose feet are hard to fit. I don't know if they will hold up in the long run for sure, since we just got these, but they appear to be well-made, good quality shoes. And they couldn't be any more adorable on my child's feet. I think I have a new favorite brand of toddlers' shoes!**Update--these held up just fine for several wears until my daughter outgrew them. We even washed them in the washing machine a few times and had no problems. I didn't dry them in the dryer--just air dried them, for anyone who is wondering. Still very pleased with every pair of pediped shoes I have purchased I I think the latest count was six pairs.)

These are very cute shoes. I purchased them for play shoes since they are washable. I had to exchange them because they run small. The size 4-4.5 is a little smaller than a Stride Rite 4W. However they do fit a wide foot perfectly. They are so cute and seem comfy and supportive, I recommend them, just go a size bigger if you want them to fit longer.

Fits true to size. It has a nice bend on the sole to help first walkers. My daughter is just learning to walk and is very stable on her feet with these shoes. They also stay put and don't fall off. They are roomy enough but not slack on her. I get lots of compliments on them!

I give these shoes a 5 star rating because they were cute and kind of simple as far as toddler shoes go. I like the velcro strap, the roominess of the toe, and the breathability. They are cute, but very hardy. A quick wipe-down is all you need if they get dirty. They look rugged, but are quite flexible. Great tread.

I got these for my 2 year old daughter. They are intended to be her daycare shoes. Anyways, they are super cute and comfy. My baby girl loves them. Reasonable price and they appear to be very durable. I hope they last until next Summer. But if not, then hopefully through the winter.

Love this sneaker. To date my dd has only wore pediped but these are her first sneakers. She's 17m so she can't really tell me if they are comfortable but I can tell you they are light weight and easy to get on...and cute!

I would typically get my daughter a 6 or 6.5 and got a 7 in these. They fit a size or a half size smaller than most other shoes. Great quality and stability, perfect for the less experienced walkers.

These pediped riddell grip n go sneakers were my daughter's first pair of sneakers. She was easily able to walk, play and climb in them from the start and has not complained at...

These have held up very well with our busy toddler. Easy to take on and off.

This pair of little shoes are light in weight with comfortable inner sole, the bad I need to point out is careless finishing of the shoe soles which are a bit discoloring.

My daughter had very chubby feet and I had a hard time finding shoes that would hold her feet. The dorsal side of her foot was so chubby and these worked.
