Best of MFC Adult Dragonfly Flies Assortment

These flies look amazing...exactly as pictured. The pictures are not to scale but the detail in each one is great. The large adult dragon fly that I received looks to have a weed guard attached which is nice bu I did not know that it was like that...if it becomes a problem I can snip it off with some nail clippers. I have not tried these out yet and will update my review once I do but they look to be of high quality.Update: After fishing for a couple of times with these flies I still think they deserve 4 stars. The large dragon fly that looks the best was definitely getting a lot of fish biting at it but the fish did not have mouths big enough to fit the large fly inside. I switched over to the one that is on the bottom right in the picture and it seemed to be small enough to catch the fish. I wish the really detailed fly came in smaller sizes because that casted great and the fish seemed to attack that one more than the others. I want to try these on a nice sized pond or lake with some bigger fish and see how it goes but I'm sure they will be very productive. Great to have in my flybox.

The quality is good. If you ordered these based on the picture only you may be disappointed. These came up when I searched bass flies. Only 2 were a size for bass the others were a size I would use for brook trout. The description does give the hook sizes though.

Several of the flies wings were crumpled and looked weird.

Ordered 3, Amazon shows 3 charged and delivered. Received 1 box of 6 flies. Cost me 70$ for 6 flies

I received these as a gift for Christmas that I asked for. I was really looking forward to upgrading my dragonfly flys. On all but one account (which I conclude as the most important) the flies were fine. The shipping box was very flimsy and inadequate for holding flies. The biggest dragonfly fly was virtually destroyed. I can't believe you would think shipping that size of fly with very delicate wings would make it in that box. The rest of the flies were great, but I really wanted that biggest one to work out.
