Mobility KIT-TIRE

I check my pressure couple of times a month. My old unit of 20 years went DOA. Figured if they put this is their cars as main form of emergency it should stand the test. Still going after a year. Hope it continues.

I bought this pump under recommendation from a friend whose Kia came with it instead of a spare. He used it once or twice and was surprised how fast it inflated his tire that was underpressured. I had a tire that had a slow leak and I figured I'd use this pump when in a bind until I got a chance to repair my tire. It is a very handy, small pump you can stow anywhere in your car. I used it about 4-5 times in about 3 weeks and it filled my tire within minutes, under load. I used it maybe 2-3 more times but noticed it took much longer, especially when it got closer to the 30psi mark I also noted that the pump itself started getting really warm. The inside was hot. I was afraid it was going to overheat or blow so I fixed my tire and will now just use the pump only in emergencies. I gave this pump a 4 star review because maybe I was using this for unintended purposes and started to wear it out. Gave a one-star deduction because there was no indication in the ad if this pump was for emergency purposes or not so I was uninformed as a customer. Still a great little unit.
