I purchased this in order to increase the effectiveness of winter training and predominantly to use with Zwift on my road bike.Out of the box, the product requires some assembly, in so much that it requires you to bolt the "feet" on with two large Allen bolts using the provided allen key. You will also require a rear cassette that matches your existing cassette as the trainer does not include this. As soon as this is done, it requires a power source and then it is good to go. You are also provided with additional attachment bolts to fit bikes with non-standard Wheel dropout widths.It measures everything that would be required from a smart trainer - power, speed, cadence and broadcasts on both Bluetooth and ANT+ (for which you will require an additional USB dongle).I found initially that the ANT+ broadcast range wasn't great, but this was rectified by using a 2m USB extension lead. This prevented any ANT+ dropouts.It provides excellent resistance, is practically silent, in so much that you can only hear the drive train of your bike itself. The smart functionality increases the resistance when pedalling, offers immediate feedback and is an excellent mid budget solution to turbo training.The built in power meter is excellent and provides you with feedback after each ride so you can determine your training progress.The trainer require some calibration, which is as simple as pedalling to 30kph and then letting it freewheel down to 0Kph. (it is useful to note that this should be done after the trainer is sufficiently warmed up - after approx 10 mins gentle riding) so as not to cause any unnecessary stress to the trainer when it is cold.I would definitely recommend this trainer to anyone wanting to upgrade their "wheel on trainer" to a smart trainer but don't want to spend £/$1K+. It is dependable, feels solid when on the bike and offers no "rock" even when at pedalling at 120RPM putting out 650W+.

It clearly said it was the last available and I found out why. After paying the best part of £650 as I had to buy a cassette and wheel stand the trainer arrived in battered packaging. When I got to the stage of sliding the feet into the main unit I quickly found out the the metal recess lip was so bent it wouldn’t fit in. I tried to bend it back but the metal is solid which means this damage didn’t happen easily. Really disappointed in a Garmin product as up to now I have really rated the company. I will be looking for another smart trainer once this finally gets returned and I am reimbursed.

I love the trainer. It feels and sound like riding the bike on the road. Not loud noises! I’ve been using the trainer with the Garmin App. And like I said it feels like riding on the road, not just on the flat but also you’ll feel the resistance of the climbs.

Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è al limite; sebbene il costo sia elevato, le prestazioni e le caratteristiche giustificano l'investimento.Consiglierei il Tacx Flux S a tutti i ciclisti che cercano un trainer diretto smart di alta qualità. Der Smart Trainer arbeitet fast geräuschlos, auch das Verhalten beim Wechsel von der Ebene zum Berg und umgekehrt ist sehr gut, man muss das Gerät nur immer wieder neu kalibrieren.

Le produit a été livré chez moi directement par le fournisseur en moins de 24h.J’ai choisi ce produit plutôt que les marques concurrentes car les produits de TACX étaient les seuls à offrir une application en ligne gratuit avec laquelle vous pouvez utiliser et créer des entraînements personnalisés selon différents modes sans devoir payer un abonnement mensuel. Vous pouvez également faire du vélo en mode vidéo en ligne ou utiliser les autres platform comme Zwift en payant un abonnement mensuel.Le produit venait avec un abonnement d'un mois à TaxcFilm et Zwift.Garmin offre le support technique pour les produits Taxc. J’ai soumis une question quant à l’utilisation du logiciel et j’ai obtenu un excellent support.
