I've been in CB since 1972, aside from my very old D104 lollipop, this is the best Microphone I have ever used. It seems well built, stylish, and the modulation reports are by far the best ever. You won't go wrong buying this.Works perfect on my Galaxy Base.n

I previously purchased the Delta echo box with roger beep (small black box with 2 dials) and I was kinda disappointed with that, low quality sounding echo and a the roger beep actually beeps about 3 full seconds long, enough to make enemies with the whole world lol so I was nervous to try this because it is made by the same company but rest assured this has since took the place of all my Astatic D104s. I LOVE the modulation meter built in to the base. It helps me adjust the tone on how far away I sit from the mic to get that perfect sound. I get great reports on audio quality. This thing kind of looks like a kids toy almost but don’t be deceived, it is a high quality, solid piece of radio equipment and it is worth every penny. It has heavy superior build quality, a lot of metal here. I have it adjusted so I can speak from 3 feet away and still be loud. Only small drawback in the supplied power cord is really short. I didn’t want to have to use a battery so I ended up getting a small extension cord for it. Small nitpick but I’ll buy another one of these when the budget allows. Also, this is an update 2 weeks later. I am still very happy with this mic, but I did make one alteration to it. The “push to lock” button was an annoying feature to me. Every time I talked on this mic I accidentally locked the ptt so it stayed on keyed up, it is real easy to do. I ended up taking mine apart and cutting the plastic clip on the bottom of the transmit switch to permanently disable that feature. It’s something I don’t believe I’ll ever use anyway, now it’s perfect. I can key up without accidentally sliding the button to the right and locking it into place.Edit a year and a half later, I still love this mic and it’s the only one I use. Other than it being delivered to a vacant house all is good. This is the last mic I buy. Sounds great. Dont have to be up on it to be heard. Modulation control works great not sure of tone yet still playing with it. It goes out ill fix or replace with the same mic

This Delta M2 is the real deal. I was almost shocked to see how well-made it is. I have gotten used to cheaper plastic junk mics. This thing is very well-constructed. More importantly, it sounds excellent. It has plenty of gain and the tone control allows you to tailor the audio for your voice.My only complaint is the push-to-talk button. It doubles as a lock button. The problem is that it is easy to lock the mic by accident. It might have been better to come up with a different mechanism, perhaps more like the Turner Plus Three or Super Sidekick. Other than that it is great.

The microphone worked awesomely for a couple months then tonight it would key but no modulation. It has the big audio when it is working but it just quit. Replaced battery and still no audio. Probably bad solder joint I will look but this company needs to follow up on these issues.Update- delta fixed it for free. Very fast turnaround and very nice people to work with.

Like the mic a lot, everyone says I sound great, with the help from others to adjust it. After a couple of weeks something went wrong. Just the ground shield wire wasn’t soldered well and broke loose. I’ll fix it. Not a big issue. Don’t let this steer you away from this mic. It shouldn’t of happened but it’s still a great mic. Did a comparison between two very popular power mics, I plug all three into my radio and talked the same in all three. The people I talked to said there was no comparison, the DELTA M-2 was much clearer and louder. That’s what I want to hear. I made the right choice
