Hagen Living World Outside Bird Bath, Large

This is another one of those "couldn't find it anywhere things". Years ago I happened upon this bath in a catalog and purchased two. My lovebirds LOVE them. I had them for so long they were actually falling apart. I finally found them through Amazon and bought four. My lovebirds are great to watch, they both get in at the same time to splash and drink. I watch them while they're inside and get a real kick out of it. The bath hangs PERFECTLY onto the side of their cage. The opening is just the right size for the cage door (which I removed). The bird bath is permanently attached to the cage so my Lovies have constant access. I just switch them out when the water level gets low or becomes dirty. I fill the spare, remove the one hanging and hang the one with the fresh water. Works well as I don't have to run around trying to catch Lovies who are dive bombing the 'tiels and chewing on any wood they can find while the open cage door is unprotected. The bath is large, clear on the top so the birds and people can watch, solid color floor so the birds won't freak about hanging in midair and lightweight enough that any cage can handle the bath being hung on the side. I've never had a problem hanging it and my birds have never had a problem using it. Why this is not occupying shelves in pet stores everywhere is beyond me. Do I recommend this? Definitely! I only wish they made them in a larger size also as my 'tiels would LOVE it. GREAT product.

Great little birdy shower stalls/tub surrounds. Four stars because they are a bit tricky to get lined up when assembling and you don't get to pick your color. I put several inside my finch flight cage (rather than hanging on the side--I think I'd put a piece of tape on them if I did because I have a cat, and a failure could be fatal to the birds). They love the little showers and keeps them from getting as much poop in the water--they still get some because they are finches after all, and some like to perch on the edge of the tub part when they aren't using the water. However, it keeps them from splashing so much out of the dish and it only took a day for them to decide they were safe and start using them, (but they already were used to bowls and I put these in the same place). If you buy several, get them from Pet Solutions. They have low prices and high shipping, but they only charge you the shipping once, so you come out ahead if you order several things from them and I've always had good results with them.

I had bought one like this years ago and wanted to replace it when I dropped it and it got cracked. I tried a couple other styles similar to this, but the best connection to the cage and the tightest hold was this one. So when I found it I bought 3 so I can trade them out when one is in the dishwasher and a spare if one breaks again. My bird is small enough to get inside and for a bath when I haven't let her out into the sink for one.

The media could not be loaded.  Great bath for parakeets. Works well with my Vision cage which has lots of horizontal bars, and hangs securely over the cage door. Took the bird about a week to get used to, but then again every change takes him a while to get used to, so you just need to be patient. So now my parakeet likes to splash around.

This bird bath is great for a large bird and cage. I thought it would be a little smaller.

I bought this for my red-factor canary who loves to daily bathe! The bottom part of the bath is hard to clip onto the top part and is easily separated with any pressure. Also the top part of the bath is what clips to the horizontal cage bars. But the clips are very small and thin plastic. I do like that there is texture on the bottom of the bath for the bird to have better footing. I stopped using it clipped to the cage for fear that my canary would get loose or injured if it fell off. I use the bottom part of the bath inside the cage as his bath instead - thus 2 stars. But I could have used a regular bowl for that. Not the best design.

Excellent bath, but if you have a cage with even slightly thicker bars than a small bird cage it won't fit on the door. I ended up putting it inside in the floor of the cage. My larger cockatiel loves it and he fits inside it fine.

I RATED THIS AS I DID BECAUSE THE LITTLE PRONGS BREAK VERY EASILY AND I HAD TO TRY TO ORDER IT TWO TIMES BECAUSE THEY SENT WHITE BIRD BATHS INSTEAD OF THE COLOR THAT THEY SHOWED (LIKE THIS PICTURE). NOR DID THEY GIVE ME THE OPTION TO CHOOSE A COLOR. I WOULD NEVER WANT WHITE AND THEY SENT IT TWICE!

It's pretty big and it surprised me because I thought it'd be smaller. Bought it for my ringneck but so far he's keeping well away from it but I know once he gets used to it he'll head in for a dip once or twice a day like he does with his water bowl. Only problem is that I wish it was more airtight, I had to fit it in to the side door of the cage which is right below my parrot's favourite outside perch so his poo ends up on the sides of it and inside of the gap between the top and bottom parts of the bath, contaminating the water. Have to wash daily even though he doesn't even use it right now.

Does what it says on the box. My budgie does much like it but that's no fault of the bath

This isn’t ideal. The bottom wouldn’t stay on the top due to the weight of the water. Amazon refunded me however and I was able to keep the product. So I’ve superglued it together. It still won’t last but will do for now.

This birdbath is flims6 and doesn’t fit together at all well. You only have to brush against the cage and it comes apart. I only have 2 budgies and the bottom came off while they were bathing. It’s not safe and a waste of money.

it was fine, but didnt fit our cage. Difficult to tell from pictures and measurements. More details on listing would have helped. Seller refunded without a quibble, excellent customer service. Many thanks.
