I bought this on sale. Because I figured it would be terrible. There were a few 5 star reviews, but we all know that marketing departments post the best reviews.Not the case. The product was packaged well. Maybe too well; the plugs were a little difficult to pull out. And the directions are in that stilted english that you see in bad translations.I thought this is going to be difficult. But it wasn't. You need a home 2.4 ghz wifi and the Smart Life app. That's about it. The app, once logged onto the wifi found the devices. I renamed everything to simple names (for Alexa) and set up Alexa.I selected the the Smart Life skill and Alexa found everything. And I was immediately able to control the outlets with voice commands (simple names, remember).I also really like the power monitor. I will have to monitor that feature and report back. I've only had the plugs up for a day and so far I am impressed. If there are any future issues I will update.

Smart home have definitely made life easier. I have connected most of my smart bulb, sockets to my Alexa as well to google assistant via "Smart Life" app. No need of expensive hub.This product is also compatible with "Smart Life". As with most of the app compatible products, to connect this socket, just follow the instruction given in the manual.Hold the "on" button for 6 seconds, it will start blinking red and blue light indicating that it is in pairing mode. Select "electrical outlet" from the app, input your WiFi password (It works only with 2.4 GHz WiFi) and within few seconds, the socket will be connected to the app. If your Alexa is linked with smart life account, Alexa will notify of the addition of the device. You can name individual switch as per your usage and you can control them individually via Alexa or Google Assistant.Using the product for past 1 months, so far no connectivity issues.

Bought these because even though I love the Wemo's I have, I liked that these were dual-plug over Wemo's single-plug. Although I was able to get the 2 plugs to work and set up on Alexa, I have yet to be able to check or change the actual network connection via Smart Life app . On the app under "Check Device Network" for each device all I get is the "No Device Detected" error, even with the phone and both plugs are on the same WiFi network. Doesn't matter if its Android or IOS based app/phone/tablet.50% functionality = 50% useless. I'm looking for other smart plugs that do NOT use Smart Life app, but unfortunately that probably wont happen. All the dual-plug smart outlets that show up on Amazon (OxaOxe, HeimVision, DILISENS, Slitinto, Syncwire, etc) are pretty much all identical except for name stamped on it. Pity.

Read the agreement in the app. This is a gateway to your personal information and even you image. They demand your permission for their access and use of any of your contacts and personal information. Too big a price for a light switch.

I had purchased some other versions of smart plug prior to these being available. After an initial purchase, added 3 more for of these for additional needs.Set-up on my network via smartphone was as simple as any smart product I've purchased. Works great with Alexa, and has nice features such as power monitoring and individual connection control (via application, not Alexa).I also found it to work well in duplex wall outlets in terms of allowing enough space to make another connection above or below.

Works great. Able to set scenes and timers in the app. Perfect for holiday decorations, they come on automatically at sundown, and off when I want them to. Can also monitor how much energy I'm using with it.Original content for the app not in English, so some translations don't read right, and some things are not translated at all (A.M. and P.M. on the timer, for example).

We have a lot of free standing light fixtures in our home and these are by far the easiest way to automate them. All you have to do is plug the switch in, name and group the switch and then pair the switch to your network using the Alexa app (I think this sounds more complicated than it actually is - if in doubt, read the instructions though the print is a bit small). The switches have performed flawlessly. I especially like to use these switches on side tables for beds and couches.

I have used these for a little more than half a year and these are so far a very good buy. I like how it is dual vs some other smart plugs. The app needs a little more tinkering with bc aesthetically and user-wise, it can be more efficient and streamline vs having to press and press to get to what plug and action you need and figuring out which plug to turn on/off because orientation is different on the app vs physically seeing it.

Tuya based device, excellent quality, rated at 16A (more then 10 is awesome!) and does a great job monitoring energy consumption. The device is compatible with Tuya-Convert- A process to free your device from the cloud, keep your data private and easily allow you to replace the firmware without opening/soldering. If you wish to convert - DO NOT CONNECT TO APP. Also, some devices are coming with updated firmware that currently blocks the process, a solution is in development. At face value, the plug is awesome and well worth the money without modification.

I've bought i couple of smart plugs the past few days, including this type. The other ones I bought were the circular ones but took out too much space to the point that I could only fit in one plug in the dual outlet thing. So I bought this since it says that you'd be able to fit another plug there, but I was surprised to find that the difference in size wasn't big at all.Overall the use of the plug itself is the same as the other ones i got which is good. But I bought it specifically for it's snug fit profile.

I bought this last year - June 6th 2019. Stopped Working this morning - June 4th 2020.The instructions are terrible to reconfigure and there is no way of getting it to reconnect to Alexa.It isn't worth it to buy from this company, doesn't even last a year. The worst part is, its just two days shy of when I bought it. Very disappointing.

One of them is broken, does not pair with app. I ordered the 2-pack and one works and the other does not. He broken one would not pair with the app. The working one paired easily and works well.Giving 2 stars because one works and the other is broken.

Works perfectly, simple setup, and links to my Google Home seamlessly. It would be nice if it had a dim feature, but otherwise, I'm happy with it
