Before you buy this power supply - consider these questions. How often are you using the laptop? Are you just trying to keep an extremely disappointing DELL Z15 limping along for a while longer? Or have you been fortunate and are able to get a lot of use out of the laptop?I found the Z15 to be far from durable and it was my first disappointing purchase from DELL. The power supply was no exception to overall fragile and shoddy construction. The Dell OEM power supply shorted out when less than 2 years old. Flames were coming out from the cord at the plug and I was very fortunate it did not catch fire to papers sitting beside my desk. That forced me to buy this replacement to try and keep the laptop alive until I can find something better. I was not about to give DELL $60 for another POS power supply. I figured I would take my chances on this once at 1/4th the price.Unfortunately the results I had matched another 1 star reviewer. When the power supply is plugged in, the touchpad becomes useless on the laptop. The touchpad/mouse actually clicks links, opens and closes windows without me even touching it!The power supply does at least charge the laptop. When you unplug it, the touchpad returns to normal. So once charged, you can at least use the laptop unplugged.I did find some useful tricks to get me by when goggling "touchpad goes crazy when on power supply". It turns out that if you touch a metallic surface of the laptop with one hand, while using the touchpad with the other, the mouse will actually behave! Evidently it is a ground fault issue. It also works by using the laptop in your lap. Fortunate! But if you are wanting to use it on a desktop, then you will have to either plug in an external mouse (and may have to even deactivate the touchpad due to phantom float) or use the two handing operation trick.If you are getting a lot of use out of your laptop, and like to use the touchpad, then you probably should buy the DELL power supply, and a fire extinguisher.If you don't mind using an external mouse, or primarily use while in your lap, this power supply might be worth a shot.http://superuser.com/questions/76649/laptop-touchpad-works-incorrectly-when-on-power-supply

The individual cord and adapter work, however they do not fit each other. I had to use different pieces from my old chargers just to use these. So again, the products I received work but they don't fit each other.

Needed a back up charger after I left mine at home and went out of town.I experienced some cursor issues while using, but I only needed it for an emergency, so no complaints.

item arrived quickly, however, i am experiencing problems with my cursor jumping around. i didn't have the problem before my laptop battery died. item was easy to hook up and looks like it is of good quaility.

Fast Shipping And It Works Perfect, charges great and was a perfect fit for my dell!! Would definitely recommend!! Also a lot of others are only 65 watts and my laptop needed 90 watts as recommended by the manufacture! ! So double check what your computer recomends as it will affect the performance of your battery and computer! !

It fits perfectly into the charge port of my laptop, has plenty of length to it, and it's durable. I've had it for a few months now with no troubles from it at all.I was worried, when buying this, that it might not be right for my laptop (A Dell Inspiron 15z), but it's perfect. 5/5 reccomend.

Worked great.. took awhile to get here though

This charger will charge my computer, but I cannot use it while plugged in because the tracks will not work properly. The pointer jitters all over the place. I didn't realize that was the problem until too late to return it. (As soon a I found the my list original charger I realized that the problem was not in my computer )I've tried the changer in several dell computers that use this version charger and it's the same problem. For the record, using key commands seems to work fine.
