Jug is much smaller than expected.

First of all cautious due to comments, really impressed and pleased I ordered it: arrived a day earlier than scheduled, after first use really impressed, easy to clean, makes great filter coffee only downside is the hot plate turns off after 2 mins but I suppose this is a Safety feature. Either way because the coffee pot is a thermal design it keeps it hot for a few hours. Also the coffee pot has a safety feature that will not pour unless a leaver is pressed. Liking the reuseable coffee filter- easy to clean.

It has been leaking since the day I bought the product. But I didn't mind that. Because my only goal is to have a nice brewed coffee. But I noticed that the coffee does not maintain its temperature after brewing. The coffee container cools down immediately. Also there is no heater. So you'll have to microwave or reheat your coffee. But you cannot reheat it in the machine. I continued to use it this way for a while. One day my house fuses blew and there was a burning smell. The machine smelled of melted plastic. I then tried to run it but it wasn't working anymore.

I only broaght this machine because Murphy Richards increased the price of their machine I wanted, up £3 after I put it in my amazon basket.I know that insulated jugs are better than hot plates because they don't spoil the coffee. This little jug keeps the coffee warm for a couple of hours. Thats ok by me. The Jug however is a litle on the small side, is difficult to empty entirely and has a little release button that allows the coffee to pour... SLOWLYThe machine is simple to use, the filter is easy to empty and clean and it hasn't flooded my kitchen like bad reviews imply.I only brought this machine because of the price. The reviews are not great. It was a gamble but I feel that for the price, it is a safe buy. In response to some of the negative comments of other reviews... If you want a drink to stay hot for many hours, buy a flask or put on a new jug of coffee. What do people expect or think this thermal jug is? Someone mentioned hard water clogging the machine up in 2 weeks.... really? I sense catastrophising, a lie or a serious need for that person to move to a different area, because water that hard must be like poisen to the body.

If you want a coffee maker that simply makes coffee you have it.Problems? Sure.If you want it to keep the coffee warm for several hours don’t count on it. The thermos only maintains the temperature for two, three hours at the most.If you want it to retain the clock settings if you unplug it go somewhere else. You have to set time again.Sincerely, it disappoints.

Very pleased with it. I read the bad reviews and was taking a risk buying it, but I'm glad I did. The plug is a UK plug - no adapter needed. The flask keeps the coffee hot long enough. The 1L capacity is exactly right for my needs. It takes a while for the plastic flavour to disappear, but after its gone (3-4 cycles) the coffee tastes good.

where do you start(1) filling it more goes over the floor than in the tank(2) the jug it says its 10 cup coffee dispenser 10 doll cups you be lucky to get 4 normal coffee cup from it .(3) the thermos jug which you have to take the lid off the get the last cups full out(4) you better be quick to drink your coffee as it only keeps it warm via thermos jug for about a hourover all a very poor bit of kit .

Excellent, robust item that does exactly what it says on the tin. Keeps coffee warm for the time stated
