Great product and customer service !!!
Glad a month of research led me to this scoot. I must have watched every You Tube video on e-scoots. There must be 100 of them. I did have a week of using a 36V UberScoot and wasn't impressed. The experience did give me an idea of what I really wanted in an e-scoot, though. I did not want a chain drive. I did not want lead acid batteries. Advantages of the D5+ follow: 1. 52V 26ah Li battery is one of the most powerful offered by anyone. 2. The braking system is incredible. I liken it to ABS. They call it EBS. It does take some getting used to and I warn anyone who wants to test ride my scoot "be careful of the brakes. you'll think they are going to throw you over the handlebars, but they will not". There is an adjustment that give you 3 different options of braking power. I left it on the default setting of 2. It took about a month of riding to break them. I really don't understand how NanRobot gets mechanical brakes to respond like ABS. They just work. 3. The 2 x 1000 watt motors provide me with all the power and speed I'll ever use. I live in a hilly area where some of the streets have 25° inclines. It took about a week of riding to get the hang of power vs battery life to kinda understand what power settings to use. I ride in speed mode 2 which maxes at 22 mph. And I keep DUAL on all the time. This means that both motors are used all the time. Some times on a steep hill I switch to TURBO but for the most part the D5+ maintains 22 mph. I don't know what top speed is-I don't care. 4. I find the build quality and finish very good. There is some play in the steering column but I think it's because of the folding mechanism and I think all foldables will have this. 5. The seat! I did put a wood plug in the seat post to keep the seat from sometimes slipping down. I didn't want to have to tighten the clamp with such force that I'd need a tool to loosen. Also I wish there was no 1" of spring travel when you sit down but I've gotten used to it. 6. The Throttle and Controller. The instruction manual does not go into great detail on the use. I found a manual for the Dualtron II on You Tube which did a good job and it's the same controller. I think the D5+ has a cutoff of 43V to protect the battery. There is no warning when you're getting close to cutoff. The scoot just stops. I recharge when I get 2 bars of battery left. I have no idea about range. It's going to vary because of terrain and what mode you choose. I really am glad I chose the D5+ over an e-bike. It does all I want and for 1/2 the cost. 7. After purchase service: Very responsive !! I asked to purchase 2 of the plastic ( should be $1 each) seat post spacers and they sent an entire seat, post and mounting bracket. This is $150 item. I felt guilty. Thought maybe they misunderstood my request. I offered to return it to California at my expense. "Nope". Another thing which I was not aware of: Because I used my Amazon Prime card to purchase the D5+ I got a 5% credit back! Also some have complained about some bolts not tightened. All the controls on the handlebars were shipped loose. This is because they didn't want any strain on the wire. They needed repositioning anyway. Tightening is easy and should be part of any purchase. I'm very happy with my purchase and the supplier has been very responsive to the point of overkill. Really incredible service. Thank you NanRobot.

Great scooter
What a nice ride. I can’t believe the quality and power. I also own the Nanrobot x4 and was impressed with that but I began wanting more power...so I got this. I did get this to 38mph, and I only weigh 140lbs. It feels comfortable at high speeds and very stable. I will say that if your running both motors with turbo on it drains your battery pretty quick. I think you can probably get 30 miles tops if your ridding with both moters and turbo. So I usually only use both moters for climming hills but I often find myself turning them on anyways cause it’s a blast feeling this scooters power. I love the alarm feature. Even tho I lock this up with a ULock that extra security makes me feel at ease when leaving it somewhere. Another feature that is really cool is the lighting. It definitely makes you very visible and easy to be seen, and makes it look pretty rad also. Overall this scooter was worth the money. I definitely don’t regret buying it. I honestly love the damn thing cause it’s such a blast. I will mention that it came with a European charger so I wasn’t able to charge it till I got an adapter. So just a heads up if your planning on buying this you will want to buy an European adapter also. They sale them cheap here on amazon. That’s where I got mine and it charges just fine. This isn’t a big deal at all just sucked cause it wasn’t mentioned in the description so I could better prepare receiving my scooter.Update: Nanrobot customer service is amazing. I emailed them about receiving a European charger and I ended up getting a call from them. They’re sending me a U.S charger free of charge. Awesome customer service 👍🏻Update: after 8 months of owning my scooter custumer service has kicked butt with any and all issues I have had. Nanrobot has top of the line and helpful customer service. Unlike other brands they truly do the best they can to make sure your scooter is at its peak performance...I highly recommend.

D5+
Overall, good value. I had concerns about service with a recent incident but the seller has been responsive and is taking care of the repair. The overall build quality of the scooter is not the best but there are not many other options to purchase a scooter that has the overall power and performance.

Screws broken
I was unconvinced about this product at the beginning then finally I decided to purchased it but 3 weeks later 2 screws were broken I have reported the problem to the vendor but I haven't gotten any response from their end to be honest I would not pay more than 500 bucks for this since the scooter is not longer safe I am willing to pay twice as long as the quality product is great but with this quality I am very disappointed so far.___________________________April 19thThe customer service decided to replace my scooter after my issue was reported. it is just amazing!!!! Updating my rating from 1 to 5 starts

Comes with remote to activate built-in alarm system
Received scooter today, and I am truly amazed thus far. Incredible quality no issues and it comes with a remote to activate alarm system which is not mentioned in any of the descriptions. So far I would recommend this product to anybody. Stay tuned will do a complete review after I put some miles on it.

Elegant, very fast, very heavy and brakes are way too sensitive
I am generally pleased with my scooter. However, the glass of the screen arrived broken. It is a fast scooter; I will never come close to top speed. Dual motor is very handy when climbing hills. My biggest complaint so far is that brakes are way too sensitive to the point that it is truly uncomfortable. It folds all right but it is way to heavy to be carried around.

Good stuff
Great scooter, so you like to push the speed you'll have better control with the seat, mine goes around 35mph...I'm 185..now I'm guessing the installers use a drill to tighten things, with that alot of stripped screws and loose ends...the rear fender was over tightened and stripped but I have tools took bad one off they are sending me a replacement...all lights worked brakes need broken in ...note after several rides do a tightening check up my headlight I tighten and used electrical tape
