Gore Bike Wear Unisex UNIVERSAL GORE-TEX Active Hood, HGUNIH

This is a great hood for cycling in the rain. I get so frustrated with my hood in the rain because it'll fall over my eyes, or if I turn my head it won't turn with me and so I can't see over my shoulders, or wind will catch in it creating a cold pocket around my head and chilling my ears, or if it's tight enough to not catch the wind it overheats my head, so I just wind up riding in the rain with no hood, soaking wet hair, and frozen ears. This has changed all that. This hood forms around my head and face very comfortably without reducing any visibility. It wraps closely around my head so it doesn't catch the wind and since it's not connected to my jacket it turns easily with my head allowing me to see over my shoulders. The neck has velcro in front which makes it very easy to take off and easy to put on over your jacket collar so no rain drips down inside your jacket. I also like that the neck wraps around my chin, just under my lips, instead of around my neck under my chin, I'm not actually sure if that's how it was intended to be worn, but I think it is much more comfortable because there is not any pressure on my throat to restrict breathing or anything bunched up under my chin. I still get pretty warm beneath it, but I think that's just inevitable when you cover your head and neck, especially the neck, I think scarfs are much more effective than hats; still way better than any attached hood I've tried and definitely beats any cheap plastic product which will make you sweat so much you may as well have gotten rained on. If your rain coat has a detachable hood, I would recommend removing it and using this instead, it is much nicer, and safer, to have the hood move with your head instead of staying put with your jacket and blinding your peripherals.

all the reviews said this was ample. i have a huge head. 7¾. i cannot constrict my neck enough to get purchase on very much of the velcro, undermining the unit's protective value.

this is the worst concept for a hood ever. $50 on top $200 I had to spend on the jacket???? it only attaches in one place on the back of the coat and just hangs there by the middle. I absolutely hate it. Coming from a place where it rains non stop i am beating myself up for purchasing this.

Ich habe mir die Regenkapuze zu meiner Gore Bike Wear Regenjacke gekauft, nutze sie aber auch in Kombination mit anderen Jacken.Die Kaputze ist extrem leicht und lässt sich sehr gut verstauen - selbst in die Hosentasche würde sie reinpassen.Auf der Rückseite befinden sich die zur Jacke passenden Klett-Gegenstücke, sodass die Kaputze mit der Gore-Jacke verbunden werden kann.Der Schutz ist komplett, der Kopf wird auch bei stärkstem Regen nicht nass. Zudem verfügt die Kapuze über ein kleines Schirmchen, das einen kleinen Sonderschutz gewährt.Ich würde die Kaputze wieder kaufen. Sie lässt sich auch gut unter Fahrradhelmen tragen, die Flexibilität gefällt mir besonders.

Zu meiner Gore- Fahrradjacke ein Muss, da ich ganzjährig mit dem Rad zur Arbeit fahre (30 km). Schade nur, dass ich diese schwarze Kapuze extra kaufen musste und sie nur mit viel gutem Willen zur neongelben Jacke passt. Aber wer will schon schön aussehen, wenn man stattdessen trocken bleiben kann? Und da ist diese Kapuze unschlagbar: sitzt perfekt, lässt sich hoch schließen, schränkt die Sicht nicht ein, hält trocken.

Die Kapuze schützt angemessen vor Regen , schränkt aber das Gesichtsfeld nur wenig ein. Ein sehr gutes Zubehör für die Jacke ELEMENT GT AS, die ich auch gern zu anderen Outdooraktivitäten trage, für die ich keinen Fahrradhelm benötige. Gut auch für mehrtägige Fahrradtouren, bei denen ich Dank der Kapuze eine vollwertige Regenjacke dabei habe und so Gewicht optimieren kann.

Esta capucha es excelente para días de lluvia, ya que es impermeable. Como defecto, en la descripción dice que se ajusta a todas las chaquetas de Bike Gore, pero no es así, motivo por el que pierde funcionalidad y se hace complicado el uso.-

Passt an alle dafür vorbereitete Jacken. Im Nackenbereich befinden sich dafür zwei runde Klettpunkte, mit denen den Kapuze an den Kragen der Jacke "angeklettet" werden kann. Im vorderen Halsbereich kann die Kapuze durch zwei Klettstreifen variabel (eng oder locker) um den Hals geschlossen werden. Der Kragen/Halsbereich der Kapuze ist vorne 11,5cm hoch und reicht vom Halsansatz bis zu Kinn. Dadurch kann schon das Gefühl entstehen dass es eng am Hals ist, weil der ganze Hals umschlossen wird.Die Kapuze liegt am ganzen Kopf gut/eng an. Das kann unterstützt werden durch die beiden Zugschüre links und recht an der Kapuze. Das Sichtfeld bleibt vollständig frei. Der kurze Schirm vorne, bietet etwas Schutz für die Augenpartie bei der Fahrt.Angelegt passt sogar sehr gut ein Helm drüber, wenn man möchte.Zusammengelegt passt sie bequem in die Rückentasche der Jacke. Sie nimmt sehr wenig Patz weg.

Ottimo,io vado in MTB e quando lo tolgo e lo lascio sulla schiena c'è il rischio che rimanga attaccato a qualche ramo (a me è successo).Per questo motivo l'ho cucito al giubbotto così non rischio di perderlo.consigliato

Está muy bien, de excelente calidad solo que por ser universal no me quedo, deberían hacerlas por tallas, es difícil que la universal nos quede a todos, es un producto muy útil, me gusto mucho, solo que esta grande, si hubiera en talla mediana la volvería a comprar. Me gustó la calidad

Un ottimo cappuccio difficile da trovare nei negozi. Veste molto bene,di adatta ad ogni giacca e anche se non è presente il velcro, di cui è dotato il cappuccio, sotto il colletto della giacca utilizzata,funziona alla perfezione: già testato... Buona l'idea della linea catarifrangente nella parte posteriore.

Abbigliamento tecnico che isola dall'aria. Perfetto da mettere in autunno/inverno nelle discese in bici. Copre benissimo per via delle regolazioni ma non tiene eccessivamente caldo. Per chi come me soffre l'aria fredda in faccia una validissima soluzione.
