This bike is good value
This bike has a better spec than ones available locally.There is some assembly required and it is not to handle light.The reason which seems to elude some people is there is an electric motor on the bike and a great big battery,But it is great fun to ride and certainly takes away a lot of effort as I am now getting older.

High=powered e-bike
Having ridden my Lankelesi e-bike for 150km, I've become familiar with it. It takes some getting used to after riding normal road bikes, but it's a magical feeling once settled in. For some reason I was sent a 400-watt model, powerful enough on the lightest setting to enable me to stay in the highest gear with only occasional use of the second highest (No 6). I think a 20% gradient might necessitate a couple more downchanges, but still on the outer chainring. Another apparently non-standard feature of my Lankelesi RS600 is that the controller is positioned below the down-tube -- better than on the top tube. But the bike rattles, and I think some element is not properly anchored within the controller unit. My bike doesn't have the LCD computer with speedometer, but the battery charge display is fairly clear. After 57kms brisk riding today, starting with not quite a full charge, there seems to be enough charge for at least the same distance again. Knowing the characteristics of lithium batteries, I think I can judge the falling voltage when the battery charge is about half, so that with practice it should be possible to estimate possible remaining riding distance without reference to the display. The throttle control is really useful for starting uphill and for accelerating quickly out of road junctions.
