Ridley's Light Up YoYo with Light Effects Toy, Red

It was a Christmas gift for my grandchildren. I love old vintage toys and this happens to have our Ridley family name on it. Even better. Hope they love it as much as I did.

When I first took this out of the box the lights didnt work on it. Decided to just let my daughter use it anyways since she was so excited. The lights finally stopped working just as the clear plastic side fell off. Managed to get it back together. Then the other side fell off. Put it back together. Then two small screws from the inside fell out. Went to set it on my table until I can find a small enough screw driver to attempt to fix it and the plastic side fell off again. The entire thing is a cheap piece of junk.

Lights up, no sound effects, there’s one on YouTube exactly like this, and it makes arcade type sounds along with the lights, don’t fall for gimmicks. You’re better off buying a yoyo from the dollar store

Junk! Got the first one, no sound effects. Got the second one, still no sound effects. Now I have a bummed out 5 year old that worked super hard to earn this as a reward.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas she got to use it for that day then it broke that evening...

Bought as a Christmas gift for a big kid aged 25, loved it..... Ok so I couldn't help having a play before I gave it to the recipient. Absolutely great.

Waste of money, my son never played with it, he dropped it from his height and it broke. At the time I was very busy and had no time to return it. I just lost my money. It is very expensive as it is.

I am sorry to report that this does not work. Intermittent light that only works if the yo yo is used at top speed - not easy for a 7 year old - and no sound coming out of it whatsoever. Sent back for a return. Bought as a present so we have a very disappointed 7 year old. Would have been worth checking it worked before posting out to us.
