Making the difficult accessible at a common level
No need to be a licensed or practicing technician with these series of books. There are several areas of the subjects in each series. Choose one and immerse yourself in the whole series. Then make some changes in life. Why not?

Love to pick this person's brain.
Through this 10 book series, I have read 6 and it seems like I have just begun. If you're even just thinking about purchasing this book, that's all the convincing you need to get started. This information is easily reorganizing subconscious structures in my mind for better. This Rogue Hypnotist is awesome!

Very good but could have been fantastic.
First, I will tell you what is good about this book--in fact the whole series of books by RH.The information is top notch. He is essentially giving away stuff that other people are charging thousands of dollars (or pounds) for.I say this because I am one of those people who unfortunately paid out thousands for the information. He also debunks the crap that doesn't work. I found out what doesn't work the hard way--by shelling out big money only to discover that what sounds good in theory doesn't always work in practice. There are people making huge fortunes teaching arcane, complex techniques that get bought up by eager disciples. The reality is that a few simple principles applied with creativity and flexibility will take you much farther. If I'd read these books first, I could have saved a lot of money and time.Okay, what's bad? It reads like notes for a book rather than a book itself. Maybe a first draft of a book. My sense is the author just wanted the information out there, and didn't care to take the time to organize and rework the presentation. With some better editing, he could have charged a lot more and it might sell better. But again, I don't get the sense that he cared since he's only charging 99 cents. So the book reads sort of like a stream-of-consciousness monologue.

Get the whole series
i have written one review for all 8 of the author's books. in order to avoid redundancy, i am only going to post my review on the very first book's amazon page and leave this note as a link on the others.if you're going to buy the books, buy them all. you really do need to read them all to make sense of the information, even though the author insists the books are stand-alone. no, they are not. what i have written above can help you fit the information into its proper order, and from there learning to do hypnotism with only this series is very much possible if you PRACTICE A LOT and follow the instructions the author gives you in the series.4 stars. would be 5, but my gripes are such that i spent an inordinate amount of time rereading the info and mindmapping it in order to make full sense of it. the author writes a LOT, and practical hypnosis requires simple understanding and quick execution, which is defeated by the series' verbosity.for the rest of my review, see the very first book in the series.

An interesting read. I love The rouge's series and I came across The many sections on waking hypnosis. Im a socialworker and soon to be family therapist and work therapeutically with groups (families, group therapy, support groups). When reading one example on collective hypnosis i suddenly realised I see a lot of it in my groups. In my work i often take a dialogical perspective and get "entranced" in the conversation with my clients. This often bringe abort a comfortable and easy atmosphere. I have seen several examples where almost everyone in the group unconiciously follow my bodylanguange. The other day I was praising a dad in a parenting workshop for his great effort. The climate in the group was relaxing and humrous. Shortly after i took a sip from my cofee, all the men (6 of them) drank from their cups in unison. Daddy-trance! :-) I was amazed and thought of this book.Great book. Easy read with lots of insight and practical information!

So full of information and ideas!
I do not totally agree with his position. Why? Ian a Master NLP Programmer as he does say he is. I am also a Clinical Hypnotist as he is. Our experiences may be different but we do coincide on many points and issues. However, when you take the divergent points and look at the convergent points this series of books is outstanding. I have already read four books and I am on the fifth and they are so full of ideas and information that is just a treasure trove to be stolen, $5.00 is a darn gift.If you do want to learn hypnosis this books are a sure fountainhead but be advised reading without practicing and re practicing until you attain the necessary level of expertise will not make you a hypnotist. Also a real hypnotist is able to create his own scripts for any given occasion. To the author, THANKS FOR SUCH BOOKS FULL OF INFORMATION!

A lot of scripts
I have purchased several of The Rogue Hypnotist's manuscripts. I love them all. They are exact and precise. There are many, did I say many scripts for producing, and deepening the hypnotic state. If you don't learn a base for becoming a hypnotist from these books, then you never will learn. What... where am I? ... No I wasn't hypnotized. Yes , I said all of this of my own free will...... Great work Uncle Rogue.

There are better products than this but admittedly pricier.
Very bold and daring title but tedious and no takeaways that I can remember.
