Celestron Nature DX 10x42 Waterproof Binoculars for Birding & Hiking

I have been needing a new pair of binocs for a long time, yet every time I "looked" into them... the price tag of good ones scared me off. Well thanks to Amazon's sale the other day, I finally got what I needed at a good price. After reading the reviews, I knew these must be a good pair... but I was not expecting them to be AMAZING! I kid you not, these are incredible.... & they are truly the perfect pair of binoculars for me...as they are just right in every regard... They are powerful enough to get face to face with whatever you are looking at, yet not too big & heavy so that the image becomes hard too stabilize. And any smaller, they would not be powerful enough... and the green color is spot on for me...like I said, they really are perfect. I have never seen such a clear image in ANY binoculars...ever. That's not to say I am an "expert" in bino's... but I have seen enough to know exceptional quality when I see it. There is just something about them, that makes looking into the forest on a sunny summer day magical...as the image seems to be in HD, like it has extra clarity... it really is something that has to be seen 1st hand to fully understand what I am trying to impart. I am glad I waited so long to get a pair.... as these were worth the wait! The Celestron 71333 Nature DX 10x42 is a solid 5 star general... highly recommended.

Better than vortex triumph Focus is a little better As in sharpness

Not too heavy, easy to adjust, and perfect for bird watching as other reviewers have said.

First, I ordered the 8x42s. I could not get a clear focus, nor could my husband. when we got home, I ordered the 10x42s. Glad I did, these are perfect. Great for birding on a budget. heck, great for birding. Easy to carry. Great optics. I think the 8s would be good for concerts or sporting events. Not a professional birder, but know when the view is better. Thank you, Amazon for allowing me to return the 8x42s. Both are a great size and easy to carry.

While the binoculars are incredibly well made and durable the quality of glass leaves something to be desired. In the center of your field of view images are crisp however towards the periphery the vignetting is awful at a distance. If you need a knockaround pair of binoculars for a truck, these would fit the bill perfectly however if you're looking for clarity across your entire field of view I would recommend looking elsewhere

Great product, very clear and easy to adjust. I bought as a replacement to some old Nikon ones I had which were fantastic but almost 10x the price. I was pleasantly surprised at how compact these binoculars were and how clear the image was. They're durable with a lovely matte green finish which is easy to keep clean. I've had these on blustery walks in the rain and had no issues, I've also been to the beach and it's done a great job of keeping dust out of the essential areas which would usually hinder their performance.

These binos perform even better than my Nikon ones, they are clear and light weight. Quality is amazing.

I got the 8x42. Its excellent clarity and small form allows me to bring my dslr with a 150-600mm lens into the field without feeling like I'm lugging stuff around.
