Great for spiky plants
I moved to AZ not to long ago and fell I love with cactuses. I have a problem with just touching them and getting spikes in my hands. These are the best thing ever to repot or move smaller cactuses.

Not super sturdy
Work ok. Not great for large prickly pear pads because they are not sturdy enough.

Cactus Grippers
These come in pretty handy for potting any small to med size cactus with spines. Wish they were made of metal to hold bigger plants & not bend.

Don't buy!
Worst purchase I ever made on Amazon. If I could give it negative stars, I would. Fell apart the first time I used it. Put it back together...and fell apart the next time. Very poor engineering or defective parts.

works for smaller cactus
This is a clever tool. It's downfall is the plastic construction is not robust enough for larger cactus. If they were made of metal they would be perfect.

Difficult for me to use with arthritic hands but with help Cactus were transplanted using them.
A little hard to use, but seats handling very sticky Cactus I was trying to repot. Have needed to transplant these Cactus for quite a while, but the gloves I have for gardening were not heavy enough to handle the cactus or very thorny plants. These are difficult for me to use with my arthritic hands however, but finally got these plants into their new pots with some extra hands to help.
