cloth is more opaque - blocking light. would be better if it is like white umbrella cloth just to diffuse/soften the light.

Ordered 2 units of this for my canon speedlite 480. Both looked different, one looked used. But neither of it fit my flash so returning it.

For beginners

Seems like a good diffuser, will need to play more with it to understand its effects better in various positions.1. Mine had a couple of small black spots, but they seem harmless.2. This is big, big enough to cover your lens if flash points forward.3. Better attach it to the mini diffuser that came with the flash, makes it much easier to attach/remove it.4. May be used as a small reflector because of its size ;)5. You need to stretch it fully to get better results or the white screen might be too close to the flash to not fully diffuse the flash light.All in all go for it and play with it to see how it works best for you.

It meets most of the requirement

Hello friends I am using this from some days and it works well for me. Because I am a new youtuber and i have not that much money to buy an expensive light system.It is better than direct light. It can make the light softener and brighter.I make videos in night time 🌃 and my videos are really good. This doesn't come with any stand so you have to make a DIY stand.Friends plz buy 2 or more piece otherwise you video or photo will not look good if light comes from one side to your object.Build quality: very good in qualitySize: friends it's size is so small(very big con of this product coz you can't use big CFLs due to its small size. You can use LEDs.)A must have product for small youtubers because they can't afford en expensive light system (coz they costs more than 3000 rupees).It can provide a good light for your videos even in night time.
