Had broken battery post on golf cart, used this and a threaded insert to repair. Bit worked great, just have to drill slow in lead and clean the filings out as you go. Tap worked well, again went slow and cleaned as I went. Cart is now going again.

Very sharp tap and started well in stainless. Also inexpensive, but great!

When I received my package the tap was broken. Contacted Amazon and they made it right. Second tap and bit work great.

I had a special thread on a small tractor wheel bolt that was damaged. Could not find a tap locally. This one was delivered in a few days and fixed the problem in seconds.

I needed a m8 x 1.25 drill bit to drill/tap a hole, so since this was a combo pack, I figured it would be perfect....WRONG. The drill bit worked fine...the tap however....not so much...got the bottom quarter inch in the hole, and then pop...tap snapped off half way up, grabbed the bottom chuck still in the work with vice grips to twist it out...shatter....only the very bottom bit was still in the hole. luckily since it was only in a thread or so I was able to tap it out with a small screwdriver.Then I was able with another brand same shape/type of tap, do the rest of that hole and another one just fine....so I suspect this tap was improperly hardened and/or had micro cracks or something. Very much do not recommend this..unless you just need the drill bit...and just throw the tap away.

Used it on a belt sander accessory which you can attach to a grinder. The pulley was threaded for m10 which I tapped and converted to work on the grinder’s 5/8” - 11, spindle. Success!

Only had one broken bolt to drill out and tap and this set worked perfectly. Seems like good quality steel, I’ll buy this brand again if I need something.
