Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon F + Sigma USB Dock with Altura Photo Advanced Accessory and Travel Bundle

This lens is brilliantly sharp, wide open. It's a marvel shooting with this for the first time.(note: shooting on a Nikon D850).The USB dock is a worthy and useful add-on in this bundle, and this was my primary motivation in purchasing this lens from Digital Goja.The rest of the bundle are more or less tossers or stocking stuffers. The 64GB SD card is slow by today's standards, but hey, it's useful for transferring files between computers (sneaker-net). The microfiber cloths are worth salvaging from the lens care kit, if for nothing else than cleaning eyeglasses. The inflatable storage case made for an entertaining puppy play toy for a few days.Bottom line: Superb lens, useful Sigma USB dock (worth $50 or so), and some fluffers.

I have no idea what amazon questions like "warmth" and "thickness" in regards to a lens should mean, but I'm giving this a 5 star. I only needed the lens, but you actually get a whole bunch of other useful things, mainly for cleaning. The camera bag that was with it looks flimsy, but it can hold your gear I guess, if you don't have a proper camera bag.The lens itself is big and really heavy, but the quality is just amazing! Takes time to get used to such a wide angle, but I'm very happy!

I have not had a chance to really put this lens through it paces but I am amazed at the wide field of view - never had a lens even close to this one. I also do not do critical architectural work so any residual distortion is not visible or simply does not matter. In any case, I am not seeing anything obvious. It is heavy but that is what backpacks are for.

I don't usually leave reviews but I feel the need to counter some of the reviews I've seen on here, particularly in regards to the weight of the lens. In photography, like many things, HEAVY = QUALITY. Quality construction and materials. More specifically, the glass. You spend $1,000+ on a lens for the sharpness and durability that a real glass lens provides. If only had the lens a few days. Went hiking with a few lenses in my backpack but ended up only using this one on my D850.Took great pictures and I'm looking forward to my trip out west soon with it.

I am sold on Sigma lenses from now on.This lens sharpness and overall image quality is mind blowing....aaaa… also it was $500 less than OEM lens ...win win situation..better lens less money...

The thing does weigh a lot, but not an unruly amount. But compared to other lenses that have similar features, it is a lot heavier. It comes with some device that allows you to plug it into your computer and make adjustments, which on one hand is cool but on the other is a red flag. Why do I need to change anything? Oh well, I'll try it some day. But overall it is an okay lens. I do really like the lens cover, it is a great idea. I "kind of" wish Nikon would do that. I would not buy it again though.The rest of the stuff in the deal really isn't that helpful. I did use the brush and the little blower, but nothing elseOh, and the extra stuff in the deal, i will only use the bush and the little air blower thing.

Just received the bundle, everything included as advertised, quite happy.Haven't used the lens yet, or the accessories, but researched the lens thoroughly before buying, I'm sure it will perform beautifully. the tripod is extremely small, but it goes VERY low, and I'm sure that will come in handy, especially since I frequently get way down!The assortment of bags, wrist strap, and such is interesting, I'm certain they will come in handy too.For the price you'd normally pay for the lens alone, you get in addition to all of the above, a 64Gb SDXC card, and the USB dock, so how can you go wrong!
