I've always used the Spear & Jackson Eclipse hacksaw range and very probably own everything that they make when it comes to handles.I recently purchased the Eclipse high - tension frame and thought that it was time to stock up on blades.These will slice through anything - their performance and reputation are legendary.If you can't trust a time served carpenter/ joiner on these matters (which I am) then I don't know how else I can convince you to ditch the rest and invest in the best.

Bought to cut lengths of 316 stainless steel 18mm diameter rod. Couldn't expect any more from a hacksaw blade. Cuts well and sharpness holding up with repeated use.

Best blades on the market.Don't go for cheaper brands, these last and keep their edge.

I used a blades from the batch I purchased tocut 1 1/2 inch diameter En1A steel into short lengths. Six cuts in total carried out in 25 mins. Had to stop for a rest half way as am 88 years old. Single blade used is still good for further work . Will purchase more when required.

Good quality blades. Unlike cheaper products which go blunt quickly.
