worked perfectly for securing my fender flares on my car. none of them lost grip or had any punch through. the low profile head makes it flush with whatever sheet you're securing it too. The only issue I had was with my install tool, I used a rivet nut gun from harbor freight, and it didn't come with the size and thread count that I needed. I had my own bits made on the lathe out of bar stock, and they held up long enough to install these rivets. after about 20 rivets the home made bit started to stretch, so these rivets are tough!
