Astonish Tangarine & Cinnamon Wood Floor Polish, 1 Litre

I bought this and a polisher for my dark wood effect laminate flooring. I applied the polish using a new micro fibre pad dust sweeper on a handle as I thought it would make application even and easy. It worked, using this method to apply the polish works brilliantly. The polish is a liquid and very easy to apply to any floor. Unfortunately my floor polisher arrived broken and had to send it back, so I had all this polish on the floor and no way to buff it up, I needn't have worried. I just used a fluffy micro fibre pad and used a broom to quickly just go around and buff it up a bit. It was already pretty shiny without any buffing. I applied the same way for the following week and by the time it had tried, the shine by itself was amazing!!! the laminate flooring looks like new and the shone is amazing. So easy to apply, such great shine and so very effortless, I with I had done this years ago. If you apply it in the right way and use plenty, you will not be disappointed..

I bought this polish with a fair amount of trepidation after reading some of the less complimentary reviews. However, it's done everything I wanted from it. OK, it doesn't produce a mirror like exhibition finish that you could admire your face in, but it puts a nice sheen on the floor and, most importantly, it does it in a completely non-slip way. Those who expect good results without expending any effort are going to be disapppointed no matter what product they buy. I was prepared to spend time on my hands and knees expending elbow grease but I can honestly say that I didn't need much to get a good result with this product. I applied a second coat some days later using a mop and got just as good a result. The trick, if there is one, is to apply the polish in moderate quantities then let it dry absolutely and completely before expending the majority of the effort in buffing it up. My results were achieved with the minimum of effort by tying dusters round my feet and gliding around the room!

This is the most amazing product I have used both on an old terracotta-tiled floor and a hardwood kitchen floor. I have spent a great deal of money in the past trying to revive the lustre on the the terracotta tiles without much success. Astonish is easy to apply, dries quickly, is cheap and long-lasting. I have ordered some to keep in stock. On wood it leaves a lovely shine which is easy to clean. Two coats is good, three is better. This is a household essential!

This item had a few negative reviews but many more positive ones so I decided to risk it and try it. I have engineered wooden floors that did have a very high polish. They had lost their lustre somewhat and so I decided to try to polish them and this seemed ideal as it is non-slip. I followed the instructions and as with other reviewers, the first application appeared to do nothing. But I didn't worry and tried a second as the instructions on the back of the bottle suggest and as other reviewers have found useful. This also made no difference whatsoever. I left a raised area in the bathroom free from polish and just mopped it as usual. This seemed to have a better finish than the area which I polished which was dull by comparison. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I purchased this with a Embank floor polisher and the 2 days I spent were completely wasted; I would hope to save someone else the trouble too.

I bought this as I could not obtain the floor polish I normally use. Astonish is ok but it lacks the shine that my previous polish had - it dries to a sheen rather than a shine - that said it does the job of protecting the floor - I would not buy this product again

Have oak flooring down and used loads of different products but have to say this stuff works great, no dirt or smears and leaves a nice sheen, 2 or 3 coats required for best results!!

I had a skim covered dusty laminate floor as my plasterer did not use a dust sheet. After many washes which were to no avail. I mopped the floor with a mixture of white vinegar and washing up liquid mixed in water. I then used Astonish to polish the floor with a damp magic cloth Aldi mop and my laminate floor came up as good as new. So I am very pleased with it. I managed to get it for 99p in SAM the 99p shop so all is good

I paid £3.99, including delivery for this product which is good and it did the job on my laminate flooring better than expected. I instantly saw an improvement in the appearance of my floor and it covered scratches and marks brilliantly. I did not follow the instructions but decanted it into an empty spray container, sprayed it lightly on the floor, spread it out with a mop, let it dry then buffed it up with my Ewbank polisher and it looked a million times better.I think the 500m bottle should last me at least four months and I will be reordering for definite.

The product Cleans and polishes wooden floors very nicely. Shine remains for at least 3 days. But I had to go to the hospital for this product because someone pranked me by putting the liquid in my milk jar. Cleans floors but not your stomach.

Very good product. However could not smell any scent.

Spreads evenly and leaves a sheen over wood.
