Good directions.. my 8yr old daughter has had more luck with this kit than her starter kit with getting the beads to stay together after drying! We love the results!

My niece loved these!! She has a princess fascination and this was a fun project for us to do together. The extra tools they have available (the pen that you can use to place beads, the peeler, and the tray that stores the beads and you can use to build on) are pretty important to making this a reasonable process for a 5.5yo, but after we did one princess together she was pretty much able to do the rest on her own with my help getting the pen loaded with different colors (she could do it, but it was a lot faster for me and she didn’t loose interest in the process before she finished a design) and sometimes peeling them off the tray. Ariel seemed particularly tricky to stay together and we had to spray that one a few extra times to keep the beads from coming apart, but it was her favorite one when we were done.

My daughter loves this! It is easy to use and has clear directions. My daughter was proud of herself for completing this project by herself. Bonus for parents - it is MOSTLY mess free. It only contains the beads and small spray bottle. The only mess happens if the beads are dropped or spilled.

This is a super cute set! Having never done aquabeads before, I was not sure what to expect... Things to note:You get the EXACT number of beads to make one of each princess. Not a lot of room for creativity or friends to do multiples. Be careful not to misplace any!I had also ordered an aquabead pen in addition to the set, and I am glad I did! The set does not come with one, but it does make the process much easier.I would order again, but keep the above things in mind.

Takes a steady hand so probably best for 5+. I enjoyed doing the beads and my daughter did the water. She’s 3. Finished product stays together nicely.

Daughter loved it. I helped her with 2, she wanted to do the rest. We used an empty small container to help wrangle all the teeny tiny beads we needed for each project. It would be more convenient if that were a part of it. Also helpful too use tweezers. Of your hands are clamy-at all, the beads will stick to them. Complete 1 process at a time. It is time consuming, so helpful for me while making dinner but you cant leave a project half done.

My 4 year old niece absolutely loved this! She is very into Disney Princesses and loves doing crafts. She was able to do this all on her own with the exception of spraying it with the water (the spray bottle is a little small and seemed tough to "spray" for little hands). I would say ordering the additional bead pen accessory is a must- it really helped move the process along and I don't know why it isn't included in the package. We had enough beads to make every princess but we were shorted on the red for Ariel, so I did some creative adjustments to account for the missing beads. Overall it was a hit and we can't wait to try other kits!!
