First I want to clear up a couple of misconception I had after reading the reviews. Misconception #1 was that there had to be active power to the charger to open or retract the mount arms. That is not the case, because the mount has a battery that is sufficient to open and close several times while the unit is not powered. Misconception #2 was that the arms would not open or retract when cold. Maybe in some cases, but so far I have not had any issues with that - they opened and closed on a morning when my water bottle in the cupholder had frozen solid; however, the vendor does include a warning with the device that it may not open and retract until it gets warm. Your experience may be different.I wanted to mount it to the back of my Mazda 3's display screen, for best positioning. However the suction mount did not have that degree of 360-degree articulation that would allow me to do that. It wasn't a real issue - I was just hoping I could. Instead, I used the vent mount which in my car works extremely well with no noticeable road vibration, and it only impedes vent air flow a small amount.I have been using this unit for about 1 week now, and I am very happy with it.

When you drop the phone in, the weight of the phone pressing against the back of the device closes the grippers, which stop automatically. When you're ready to go, there are buttons on either side which quickly release your phone.The device must have some capacitor inside as it will still open and close before you start the car, which is great design. I have never used an air vent clip, but this one actually worked very well and is what I decided to go with. The included suction cup mount was also well designed and very adjustable.I highly recommend this mount for its seamless wireless charging and ease of use.

I bought this because i had one before this and it don't support wireless charger and keeps falling off my dash. I didnt want it because my new phone 8 plus supports fast charging and need the phone charged and sturdy when running GPS or calling. I saw this one used charging and held phone tight so i was interested.Pros:-connects with fast charging-Charges on the go wirelessly- work with my phone's case with no issue-Hold and release phone easily-Does not vibrate when going down the road-rotating 360 degree-install on dashboard and air vent. But didn't try to attach it to the windshieldCons:-None really found yet, everything works as it should and may update it after many use

I was unable to use the vent mount because of my vehicle so I opted for the dash/glass mounted version. Its exactly what I wanted. I am able to make multiple adjustments on height and viewing angles so it does not obstruct my view of the road.Pros of this one over the vent mounted one I purchased from another seller.- I am able to adjust the viewing angle with no issues- NO touch release on the feet that hold the bottom of the phone. The other one I had, you could touch the phone and accidentally touch the feet as well, the holder would open and your phone would fall. Maybe my fingers are too big. This holder has a button to push but it on the top and back of the holder. no accidental touches. - if you turn off your vehicle and you leave your phone in the holder, it still retains power to release your phone. No more turning back on the car to release your phone.These may seem minor but they make this a five star holder for me.Cons - none at this timeLastly, some have said they have issues with this not working in the cold. The coldest I have seen so far is 18 degree and the holder still works with no issues. After you purchase this, the seller does send an additional sheet of do's and dont's. They do mention the cold and the device might need to be warmed up. I can deal with that. The other charger I purchased would not operate when it got below 40 degrees.

Amazing product. One of my friends who works on Uber ordered one without hesitation when he had the first sight of it. Vanmass wireless car charger works great and I have used it for a month.Everything you need is already included - also a micro USB cable for the charging station. The product fulfills two functions: as a Qi charging station and as a smartphone holder. The charging station works well on my Galaxy S9 which is equipped with the Qi standard, even if the smartphone is wrapped by the shell.I especially like the motorized hold on and release the phone. The holder is very stable, nothing wobbles. Can attach the bracket either by the suction cup on the car window or by a clip on the ventilation slots of the heater - that fit perfectly with my car and fits according to the manufacturer in more than 98% of all car models. The bracket can be extended and the head can be rotated 360° so that you can set it up as you like. The arms of the holder adapt to the smartphone so that it can not slide.

Okay so my wife has been hounding me for a phone holder in her Sienna for about a year now and I’ve searched high and low to find just the right one to fit the ergonomics of the interior, and NO I didn’t want a Magnetic ball.I came across this type of holder by accident while searching for something for my Lexus. So from there the research began and I ended up giving this perticular one a try and so far with the option of utilizing a window, dash and vent mount I figured it would work, and IT DID JUST THAT !Now the wife is happy and so far the unit works like a charm! So if your a MOM or DAD juggling a million things with kids in the van, we’ll this is for you. Simple, automatic and effective.

A quality product with the exception of the suction base, not strong enough to hold the unit up all the time. Will come away at inopportune moments when driving. Otherwise we'll built, quick charges correctly, and good mechanism to close and open when holding the phone in place.
