After a colonoscopy the doctor informed me he found some diverticulitis and he caused me to believe I had a leaky gut. I went to a near vegetarian diet with lots of broccoli and the L-Glutamine Powder (30grams a day). Within 45 days all signs of the leaky gut and diverticulitis were gone. I got a very strange and unsettling pain sensation in my chest where my heart is. I have taken another brands of L-glutamine and never had anything similar to this reaction from any other brand of glutamine (nor from any other supplement). A straining pulsing pain that felt like it was located in my heart, persisted for about 60 minutes, and this was at 2.5g (half the suggested dose). I thought maybe it was a coincidence and not due to the powder, so I try again at smaller doses and the chest tightness reoccurred and generally feel strange afterwards. I feel slightly and subtly altered psychoactively by it also (i.e. “high”). Despite being Amazon's house brand, this product is sketchy in my opinion. The label only says distributed by Amazon, without any info on manufacturing location. Manufacturing location most likely is China, where big batches of cheap powder often is contaminated (trace amounts from previous batches of other compounds/chemicals are often left inside the vats as they aren’t properly cleaned out between different orders. This is how steroids end up in 100s tainted supplements. Lists can be found online). I would like MORE then a just refund for my ordeal and I wouldn’t recommend anyone take it. I will be collecting a sample for testing before sending it back.

Tasteless & mixes easily in water. Benefits will take time to notice. Looked at a lot of similar. This was equal or better quality for the best price. Delivered quickly before estimate. Would buy again.

Both my husband and I use this product on a daily basis. It really helps our bodies recover quickly from workouts. We add it to our protein shakes or smoothies for a recovery boost. We will continue to order this product.
