These are really cool!! I was a little sad I couldn't use these elsewhere in my house too because I had so much fun playing with them, but you need the car port to plug them in. At first it was confusing because they didn't come with instructions, but then I noticed the QR code on the charger to download the app. Once I opened the app I didn't know how to control the lights until i went through the settings and saw it needs to connect to your phone through bluetooth. Once I had that down, it was a breeze! I love that you can choose from their colors as well as mix your own and edit how it shows up! I liked having the colors fade into the next one instead of fast switching, and the cables are long enough that i could plug it into the back port of my car so the front one was still free for my phone charger. my daughter was highly amused; definitely recommend!

 Alright. I’ve tried many interior lighting choices such as manually wiring led strips and using cheap ones with the flimsy remote. If you’re deciding whether you want the Bluetooth version or the cheaper remote one, choose Bluetooth. It tucks away nicely and helps with wiring so you don’t have to have the receiver sticking out somewhere.Build quality is great. The led strips are sealed in water resistant tubes so if you’ve got a marine vehicle you’d be good to go. Just make sure you seal up the receiver well.Their app is meh but it automatically connects and is easy to use. It has many functions to offer. Finding the app is easy since there is a QR code to download it on the reciever box on the item itself.Installation is easy. If you can pop off interior panels it’ll tuck away fine... you will never see any wires or anything. If you’re not handy with car stuff, it’s plug and play so just try to shove the wires and box somewhere under your seats and you’re good.PRO TIP:The unit itself is rated (says it on the label) for 5v-20v so you can cut that pesky cigarette adapter and hard wire it to any 12v source. I’d recommend something that is always on like the horn. The app has the ability to turn it off (timer function included) and this way you can be parked and show off your car to friends. It doesn’t drain your vehicle to leave power connected to the box and the led’s off. Even with them on, you’re not drawing nearly as much power as your headlights or starting the car.Hope I was helpful!

Love these lights. Just installed them today. They come with a cigarette plug In power source but I hardwired them in. Try are bright and easy to work. Love this product and highly recommend it.

This light kit is realy neat , plug and play super simple setup and use, all u do is plug into your cig lighter socket then use a qr code app to scan the code on the reciever part and it links you to the app for the lights, download free app and its instantly linked to smart phone by Bluetooth, now you open the app and use it to turn the lights on off , dim, color change, and they will also pulse to the beat of music thats on your smart phone2 leads are 48" plus 8 3/4" light bar2 leads are 67" plus 8 3/4" light barLeds are bright even during day and they have actual 3m tape on the light bars, the power plug unplugs from the control box so that means you can use in home with a inverter plug, or you could probably hard wire it into the car if you had a lead with that plug

Great LED lighting. Brighter than factory... i hard wired these to my stereo using a relay from the battery. Rather than using the cigarette lighter... it’s worked fantastically... only takes a second to turn on. And has a lot of colors. I think I will buy another one to light the back... these are not long enough to go in the back seats. Only across the dash...and the Bluetooth box cannot be fastened under the dash with the pathetic screw holes they give you which is why I give them 4 stars.Update: bought a second to go under seats and plan on buying a 3rd for back seats. These are awesome and work really well! Fast shipping, good service and good product although i still need about 5 in total to fully light floor boards in truck cabin

I am usually skeptical about this type of product. However, I am firmly impressed by this set. When you open the box, u find four LED strips. They each feed into some kind of adapter and then to the plug that goes into the cigarette lighter. The cigarette lighter plug has a cool feature. There is a button on the back which allows you to turn on the lights on and off. The LED strips had high quality 3M double sided tape. This is much better than I expected. When installed, the strips produce a satisfyingly bright light which can illuminate the entire interior of the vehicle. All in all, I great purchase and I am highly satisfied.

The lights look good and the color gradient is as described. It does have a lag when making changes on the app, so you have to be patient. Takes a few seconds to recognize music beats but ultimately responds to the music. The adhesive strip on the back is very weak and has started to peel after a week of use. I'd suggest an alternative fastener such as hot glue or zip ties. The color is bright enough to see but no so bright as to be distracting. It comes with 2 longer wires and 2 shorter wires, so where you decide to mount the receiver box will determine which light go to the back and front, but all in all, I love it. I plan on wiring it to my headlight switch so we'll see how that goes, but definitely a cheap alternative to a very cool feature on your car.

 Great product, does exactly what we wanted them to do. We put these lights in my husbands truck for the kids and they absolutely love them. I just haven’t figured out how to make them go to music. But that’s operator error.. haha
