Works great!
This thing can be the core of your next Halloween motion-activated animatronics project. I might have to buy more. There's some issue where you can't just jump to the VCC and GND pins, oddly, you have to jump right to the battery connectors in my experience.

Has potential
I have owned this device for two months, originally purchased for Halloween and now using it for Christmas music. Although the device is not water proof, placing it into a zip-lock bag solved that issue and I had no issues keeping it outside in the driving rain. Even in a zip-lock bag the motion detection is solid and audio is unaffected. The device worked great for spooky sounds when people walked by. Ideally you want to use lithium batteries (last longer) and you want to make sure the sun does not hit the device directly. My device did come with an SD card unlike what others have said, it was installed in the device. The device has 4mb of flash memory, however, unless you are worried about people stealing your card there is no need to ever remove it. You DO NOT have to remove the card to add MP3 files to the card. Power off the unit and connect it to a computer through the micro USB port. It will show up as a USB storage device. From here you can directly add/remove MP3 files. After you are complete EJECT the device from USB connection and turn the unit on. After it boots it will read directly from the card. I don't see the need to copy the files to Flash Memory ,after all it is only it is only 4mb and the largest file I played off SD had been 30mb.Before dumping your files to the device you should clean them up in Audacity (free music editor) or any other application that will let you edit and normalize the audio. The downside to the device is the volume control. It basically sucks, was a potentiometer that hard to solder in? Through an audio editing application you can tweak the gain of the mp3 file and at least make an effort to avoid clipping.Outside of the crappy volume control everything else is pretty good and for the price it is not a bad gig.

Works as mentioned -perfect
Perfect! I built one years ago but it is too much effort and with humidity in the bathroom it did not last long! Just what I needed

SCAM! NO SD CARD NOT SLOT FOR SD CARD
Big Scam I bought 3 if them, none of them come with 128 sd card like they claim there is not even a working slot for the sd card , I put the SD card in the slot and it went all the way inside the junk. so there is no wat to get this junk working. The box is in total Chinese not one word of English.Took 2 of them apart to get my SD card out and there were other sd cards in it. They keep reselling the broken returns

Perfect! Only one I found that plays multiple recorded sounds.
I wanted something that would play snippets of a holiday-themed movie when people passed by a decorated office. This was the only one I found that could do the job. I didn't need a mic to record anything, I had the files on my computer. Other ones I found only played a single sound file. It was easy to copy them to the included 128MB microSD card. They can be played directly from the SD card or copied to the device's internal memory and the SD card removed. I used 2-way tape to install it on the door frame. The motion detection is superb and the volume outstanding on low (I normalized the mp3 files in Audacity). The other low-scored reviews are people upset that the unit they received didn't include the SDCard. Understandable, but they are not truly reviewing the product, which is unfair.

Motion Activated Sound Player Won't Interface With My Computer
I've tried connecting this player via USB to three different computers, and none of them will even acknowledge that the device is there, so I can't format a new SD card for the device. Therefore, I have to use the already formatted SD card that comes with the player. If you lose that, you might be limited to the preloaded recordings which are not very good. The sound quality isn't outstanding, but it's pretty decent for such a small speaker

WORKS GOOD
MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT YOU CANT GET RIDE OF THE PRERECORDED SOUND BITES I REMOVED THEM FROM THE FILE BUT FOR SOME REASON THEY ARE STILL THERE ALSO YOU MUST SIGN ON TO THERE WEBSITE FOR DIRECTIONS BUT ADDED A COOL EFFECT TO THE MURDER OF CROWS I PUT ALL AROUND MY HOUSE.... SPOOKY!

Not perfect, but pretty good
Upon removing from the box, it appears pretty nice. The instructions are pretty good but after I read and re-read them multiple times, I finally figured this gadget out. Now I am a geeky type of person and was able to pull the Micro SD card out of the gadget, pop it into an external card reader on my PC, delete the factory test MP3 files and then copy my audio files to the Micro SD card. Getting the card out was a real pain and that is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. I had to use the tip of a utility knife blade to "dig" into the Micro SD card to pry it out of the slot. The slot in the side of the plastic case is not big enough to grab the card and it really does not align up with the card slot on the circuit board inside. Also the card is flush with the case so there is no way to easily grab it and pull it out. So after removing the card, I took the same utility knife and gently carved the opening bigger so that I could use my fingernail on the SD card to remove it in the future. Then of course putting the Micro SD card back into the unit can be tricky. You have to make sure that the card is EXACTLY going into the metal slot inside the plastic case. The 1st time I did this, it fell into the inside cavity of the gadget because I did not properly align the card into the metal card slot on the circuit board on the side of the gadget. I had to rattle it around a bit until I was able to get the card back out and insert it properly. Then using the included instructions, I was able to get my custom audio files to play in sequence which is pretty cool. So if you are not the type of person who can handle all of these procedures, then find a friend who can do geeky type of tasks to help you. Also, another reviewer commented that cannot load the audio files via a computer USB cable (which is NOT included). The instructions say that the USB cable is a power cable (and you have to remove the internal AA batteries if you use this power method). The only way to get the audio files onto the Micro SD card is by removing the card from the Wavtronic and editing the card on your PC. Once you have the card on your PC you can delete the "odd noises" and Fanta commercials that are merely test files from the factory. This is no reason to ding Wavtronic to 1 star. Find a geeky friend to help you.

Amazing Product
This is such a cute and fun motion detector. It can be personalized with what ever sound or song that you want. Easy to do. Just need to take out the Micro SD card and change the content. Love it.

Love these little sound machines!
Just turned it on to see if it works and it does (recorded video). This is my second one ive purchased for Halloween and this one came with a 128mb micro SD card in the slot.. I dont know if its supposed to or not but I was happy to see one in the slot! My other one didnt come with a SD card. Haven't tried adding my own audio yet to it or messed around with it so im only giving it 4 stars for the moment, but aslong as I can get Halloween audio on it and the sensor works for the purpose I need it for its a 5 star product to me!! The last one I purchased a few days earlier works perfectly for my needs so im hoping this one does too! Great little machines these are!! Where were these years ago when I needed them lol

It works
Works fine for intended purpose. I run a family fun center and use them to keep kids from crossing into a certain area. Of course they don't listen to the warnings but that's nothing negative about the product. Good value for money.

Very limited instructions and voice on machine comes in chinese
I purchased this product to play a short sound clip when people walked by. The instructions were very limited. The sound clips on the device were in Chinese so I don't know if they were meant to help or not. None the less, despite following the instruction we could not get out sound clip on the device. After spending an hour with it we decided it was not worth the effort. The motion sensor device did seem to work - only it played the chinse sounds clips. I will leave it up to you to decide if its worth the trouble.

Barking sound Only scar animal or birds not human
Barking does not sound real and it works only short distance so you can instant discover the motion sender.A good toy.
