Before Amen Prayer Journal

I have looked over the journal; however, I have not begun to use it yet. Currently, I have participated in the Before Amen webcast provided by Lisa TerQuerst from Proverbs 31 Ministries.. I will say, in reviewing the webcast, I have learned there are many features and meanings of a simple prayer. I will also admit I have not begun reading Before Amen, the book by Max Lucado. I like the layout of the prayer journal and I feel it will be an incredible asset to the lessons one can learn only by reading the book. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend getting yourself a copy of the Before Amen book, again, by Max Lucado. I hope you find this information helpful. Have a nice day, and Happy Holidays to all!

I love to write, in a journal, a diary, whatever. This is my second Amen journal, and I'm almost finished. I try to write daily, so they fill up fast. Maybe the manufactor can make them bigger with more pages for us diehard journalist.

I've long been a Lucado fan. His simple pocket prayer is easy to pray. Writing everything down day after day helps me think of those for whom I should pray, those I never would have thought about praying for without the journal, and reminds me that God is listening. I recommend this journal and the accompanying book to anyone who wants a better prayer life, no matter where you are in your journey.

This book is a guide for a prayer list for each day. I thought it would be an open page journal. Instead it has a section: "Father you are good" with lines to offer praise each day. Then a section of the page for "I need help". Another section: "They need help" Then, "Thank you...." All this on two pages per day. It is accompanied by an inspirational thought.A little too limiting for me!

Our book study group has bonded even more due to us reading this book and being encouraged to pray everyday. We read aloud and then discuss the chapter. This is one of Lucado's best books! Our group has been reading his books in our study group for the past 5 years. I recommend the little Pocket Prayer book as well!!

I gave this book to my dad as a gift and he has really enjoyed the practical steps of making prayer an integral part of his daily life.

This is a great little prayer journal. I just love it. I ordered about 16. Now I have enough to last approximately a ye year and a half to two years.
