It definitely fits an iPod touch 7 generation.
I’ve been searching and searching for a case for my sons iPod touch but couldn’t find any for an iPod touch 7 generation. Until recently I found out that the iPod touch 5 & 6 case will work for the 7 as well. I let my son pick out his case, choosing this one and he loves it.

I bought for my son’s iPod. He loves a certain black cat superhero and so this was just perfect for him. No complaints so far. It seems durable and protects his iPod well enough. We do use a glass screen protector with it.
