Not a GMT, but close. Very very accurate.
I love the combination of perpetual calendar and echo drive, plus the accuracy. You can go a long time never needing to adjust this watch. Mine has gained ~40 seconds in the 6 months between daylight saving time changes. Essentially you only need to set this watch for daylight saving and it will forever be accurate for time and date.Looks are very good, goes with everything. There are quite a few elements to the dial that catch the light very well, and there's a lot of depth there too. Bracelet and clasp are fantastic.The watch would be hard work to setup from scratch, but not impossible, and mine arrived almost fully setup, only needing to fine tune the minutes and seconds on delivery.This watch got on my radar when I saw the 24 hour sub dial, it doesn't function exactly as I might have expected but it would be useful for someone who travels to different timezones and wants to keep track of the time at home. In regular 'Time' mode, the 24 hour hand always matches the 12 hour hand. However in 'L Time' mode you can jump the hour hand to your local timezone while the 24hr hand keeps track of home time. The alarm only ever corresponds to home time so best not use it when travelling.Very impressed with this Citizen.

Great gift
Purchased this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, and he loves it. The dial is medium-large but looks great on. Make sure that you properly charge it by leaving it in the sun for about a day if possible with the watch face facing the sun. We took a trip to SF recently and the watch stopped ticking during the trip. We figured that when watches are kept in boxes for a long time you never know how much charge is in it, so it's better to be safe than sorry. It took some time to figure out how to reset it and I ended up calling customer service for Citizen (not Amazon) and they helped reset it with ease. Overall, it's a beautiful gift and one that someone special will immensely enjoy :)

Nice watch but obtuse instructions
I've only worn it for a week - so cannot say anything about reliability. I bought it because a solar Seiko I had purchased a year or so ago died on me. Almost went back to something with a battery, but figured I'd give Citizen a chance. I like the look of the watch a lot and it is keeping very good time. For that I give it 4 stars. I must say, however, I hope I don't have to reset it anytime soon. The on-line instructions for initial setting were obscure and it took longer to set up than it should have. I like very much that the date accounts for different month lengths and leap year. The date window, however, is small, set deep, and very hard to see (for old eyes, anyway). Adjusting the metal band was another adventure. That took a trip to YouTube and a little dexterity - but once done it's done.

Beautiful watch. I got it for it's solar capability and the fact that it will keep track of the date long after I have passed. It's my first watch since I was a teen and could not be pleased more with it.A month has passed since I bought and synced my watch to the atomic time online and it looks like it gained 3 seconds since then. Not bad at all.With a bit of practice I am now able to maneuver the different settings with ease. And it's nice that the watch has an alarm function. Although, if you are a heavy sleeper the alarm will probably not wake you up.

The Quality of A Citizen Can’t be Overstated
This is the latest addition to my collection of Citizen watches and I absolutely love it. The craftsmanship is exceptional. Every detail is meaningful and reaches out through the sapphire glass. Even though it’s a 42mm watch face, the glass covers almost the entire circumference so the face appears fuller. It even has more glass than my previous work Citizen that is 43mm. A little heavier than I expected but no complaint there... goes through the metal detector at the airport without a squeak. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, unless I’m just used to their style of writing by now. I must say that I’m not at all disappointed... Citizen delivered again at a great price point (thanks to Amazon).

Did not disappoint
This watch is beautiful and fit and finish is very high quality.I bought this to replace a higher end swiss watch that I was growing too afraid to lose and wear every day. It is visually stunning but that is the least of what makes it so great. I will update review in a year or so but so far I like it alot and have not put back on my other watch. Defective on arrival
It looks like I will be sending this back for a replacement. When you pull out the crown it is supposed to stop the second hand to allow you to adjust the time, calendar,etc. There were several times where the second hand wouldn't stop regardless of how many times you pressed it in and pulled it out, and one time where the second hand started on its own while the crown was pulled out and the time was bein set, preventing me from adjusting the hands. I didn't pay for a watch that "might" work the way it's supposed to! I may change my review score for the replacement, but right now I'm really upset at Citizen and Amazon for providing me with this kind of quality and service on a $400 watch - not acceptable! I expect you to make this right!

An exceptionally nice watch for an even nicer price. I already had one and definitely wanted this one from the first time I saw it.. Many thanks to my wonderful son who so thoughtfully bought this watch for me. Everyone needs as nice a watch as this one.
