Case-Mate - iPhone XS Max Case - WATERFALL - iPhone 6.5 - Iridescent

The case is nice and seems to be very good quality. Looks nice and as pictured. My problems with the case are that it adds a lot of bulk and weight to your phone . It is very slick, it was hard for me to grip it securely between the slick texture and the added bulk that the waterfall back adds. Getting this case off was extremely hard! It is a one piece design, unlike the cases in the removal tutorial videos available.

Another amazing and gorgeous product by Case-Mate. It gives it major protection especially around the corners. The bumper feels like hard rubber. The glitter waterfall is beautiful with some holo glitters. The buttons are clicky and responsive. This saved my phone when I dropped it on concrete. Not one scratch or crack. The case itself was only left with light scuffs on the top right corner. The only thing I would like is a higher raised lip. I love this brand and I'll continue to buy from them because their cases are so beautiful and protective.

I wanted a protective but cute case. This brand has 10 ft drop protection. I got this one with the liquid glitter. The standard case is just a rubbery flexible back. This case has liquid glitter squeezed between the normal back and a hard shell, making this case extra thick and stiff. Because of the hard shell, the case has zero flexibility once your phone is in it. I had to pry my phone out of the case with a tool!!! The case was so thick and slick, I can’t hold it comfortably or securely with one hand. Returning this and getting a casetify case instead.

I absolutely love the design (hence the 2 stars). However, I removed my case so I could put on my screen protector and now the power button is loose and Siri keeps thinking I'm talking to "her". Very annoying. I did remove the case and checked my phone itself and my phone is fine, so the case is the malfunction. I will be returning it.Pros: Very tight fit, and cuteCons: Possible defect, power button on case is loose resulting in malfunctioning phone or having to press harder on the button.

I was super excited to get this phone case. It's pretty, it's sturdy. I think it would protect well, IF it actually fit my phone properly. I put this case on and I was super excited because it was even more protective that I thought it would be. I was pleasantly surprised. But then I turned my phone on and it had the side butt on the right permanently pressed down. Siri wouldn't stop. Also, the volume buttons would not work. I figured, ok, I did something wrong. Removed it. Put it back on. Same outcome. Did it like 2 more times, same thing. Frustrated I had another member of my household try it, same outcome with her. Then had another member try and same results so THEN I brought it in to work. All the dudes I work with confirmed, I'm not just being a ditz with a new phone and case. The buttons really do not line up.

I’ve had this case on my old 6s plus in a pinkish rose gold. I was ecstatic to have it back on my X max and it makes a beautiful finish on my gold phone. It’s a bit chunky making the phone thick overall, but I like the sturdier feel for my personal preferences. I’m not a huge fan of thinner cases so this is great! I always get compliments when I use it. The only downside is it is very hard to take off of your phone so do be careful when removing it so you don’t accidentally drop your phone in the process.

The purp color is beautiful. It fits iPhone X’s max . It looks protective enough but as steady as otter box .

This is the second Casemate waterfall iPhone X phone protective cover that I have purchased. These are stunning and practical. My iPhone is now in its third year and its excellent condition is no doubt due to the protective qualities that this casing provides.The Casemate case cover has a robust, hard back. This has proved effective on the countless occasions that I have dropped the phone. The exterior lip provides a great bumper and cushion for the edging of the phone so that no area of the phone’s contours are exposed.Moreover, this case is easy to slip on and remove. It fits perfectly so that charging and camera points are exposed as they should be. The rear waterfall effect is attractive and unique and the fact that I have purchased a second case speaks volumes and testifies to the excellent product that this truly is!

The case was so tight on the phone it felt like it’ll break the phone and taking it off was a mission and a half. I am pretty sure it was so badly stretched over the phone it broke itself and leaked. Thank fully the liquid didn’t get in the charging port. Do not buy!iPhone XS Max

The case itself is beautiful but it is made very tight and because the back is so rigid (to keep water in place) the case would not come off. I have NEVER had an issue with getting cases on or off until this case. I tried for over an hour to slip credit card type cards in between the phone and case but the cards were bending and breaking without budging the case. I ended up having to cut the rim of the case off on each of the sides to liberate the phone!!! @.@Unless you want this to be your permanent/one and only case for your iPhone XS Max (only phone I experienced in this case), then don’t buy it.If you don’t mind spending money to have to cut a case off when you want to change it out, and you like the design - go for it; it truly is beautiful aesthetically - just not worth the trouble in my opinion. >.<

This case is very pretty and I am please with the look in most aspects. A few things I have hesitation around are:I would prefer to see the lip of the cover that comes up around the screen higher. The reason is I don’t know how much it will protect my screen from becoming damaged if I drop it. With other cases the rim is higher than the screen and with this one it sits almost flush, which may not prevent it from hitting the floor and cracking should it fall.I have had the case for two weeks and there is an air bubble now in the case where the sparkles are that wasn’t there before. Nothing serious but it just doesn’t look as good, and in such a short period of time.My phone did drop from my pocket while I was sitting down, and my phone did not become damaged however the corner of the case did crack. This was from a short distance so i was a little displeased at how easy it cracked on impact.One last minor thing is it’s very hard to take the case off. I have needed to to plug the phone in at certain times or clean it and it’s very hard to do because it’s not a very flexible case with the thick back.

This cover is great but I’m so confused as to how it gets off ! It’s so hard to pry off. I watched several videos to figure out how to take it off my phone and am unsuccessful
